Why do e-cigarettes burn out so fast? Vaping at wattages that exceed the coil limits will vaporize e-liquid too fast. When that happens, the coils can burn the wicks, even when there’s still some juice there.

Why does my vape Wick get burnt when I vape?

When taking many puffs in a row, the wick will dry up fast. If you sense that a burnt hit is coming, by noticing a slightly roasted taste, put your vape down for a moment. This will allow liquid to cover the dry spots of the wick.

What should I do if my vape coil keeps burning out?

If it doesn’t go away and you are using a variable wattage mod, try raising the power a bit for a couple of puffs—but make sure you don’t exceed the upper wattage limit of the coil, as this will most probably burn it. Refillable pod systems will usually arrive without e-liquid in the pod.

Is your vape burnt your throat?

It has happened to all of us: we grab our vape, take a long puff, and instead of tasty soothing vapor, we get a nasty burning taste and an awful throat feeling. Burnt hits are one of the worst things a vaper can experience. And it can happen with almost any vape, from disposable vapes to cloud-chucking sub ohm tanks!

Why does my vape have spitback on the first puff?

Take note that you might experience a bit of spitback on the first puffs, due to the extra bit of liquid that may’ve pooled inside the coil.

Have you cleaned you coil lately? A gunked up coil isn't as efficient as a clean one.

This is funny as i too thought i was going through a unusual amount of juice also. My friends claim a 30ml bottle lasts a month and i have ran through 30ml in a week but I am vaping pretty regular its just so darn delicious.

Haha you upgraded batteries, creating more enjoyable Vape, leading better flavor, thereby sucking down the juice due to yummyliciousness... Wait til you go RDA on a nice 20+ VW device ... It was cheaper for me to Smoke LOL. Never going back though. Vape on!

Exactly! I just noticed the rapidly disappearing liquid, but I guess I just haven't realized if there's been a significant difference in the amount I vape. Apparently that, combined with a slight uppage in volts has contributed to the vanishing juice. I feel dumb now lol. I was convinced there was some sort of conspiracy.

Sometime you dont realize how much you vape and next thing the liquid is finished and time for a refill.

Sounds like you're flooding it. First thing to do is check your air intake holes. Rinse them in hot water and make sure they're fully open.

That is most likely your problem. That silicone boot is meant to make the seal.

ROBO2020 Makes Your Coils Last Longer

When people say that their coils are “burned out,” what they usually mean is that their coils are covered with residue, which produces a burned flavor. Under the residue, there’s usually nothing wrong with the coil itself.

E-Liquid Residue Causes Vape Coils to Burn Out Quickly

When you think about it, it’s a little funny that we talk about vape coils “burning out” when the most common cause of short coil life has almost nothing to do with heat. The reason why most coils burn out quickly – sometimes in as little as a day – is because of the e-liquids that people use.

To Maximize Coil Life, Treat Your Coil Right From the Beginning

While residue is the thing that causes most vape coils to “burn out” too soon, there is another form of coil burnout that actually does involve burning. Every vape coil needs a wick to carry the e-liquid from the tank’s reservoir to the heating surface, and in most cases, the wick is made from cotton.

Avoid Subjecting Coils to Unnecessary Heat

Even when you prime a coil correctly, preventing the wick from burning is really an ongoing process if you want the coil to last as long as it can. Prolonging the life of a coil begins with ensuring that the wick is always wet, and to do that, you need to be careful about your device’s wattage setting and how frequently you vape.
