I'm thinking no (the one thing I do miss a bit about...ahem), but I was wondering if there are maybe certain juices or mixtures or maybe even set ups that deliver that same or similar rush? Or has anyone felt that they've experienced it through vaping?

I got it the first time I tried a "real" PV with juice rather than a Blu. Haven't had it since. I think I ?over vaped? since I was used to inhaling so hard with the Blu just to get vapor. I followed it up by coughing like a TB patient. Very classy.

I vape 24mg nicotine by dripping. Every now and then I get a bit of a head rush. I wish it were more )

Hulamoon Vaping Master Verified Member ECF Veteran

From my experience only, not a head rush per se, but too high a nicotine will make you feel a bit lightheaded. Unfortunately - or fortunately so you don't OD - you will probably start getting a nasty headache at which point your body's telling you to back off for a bit, and then go with a lower nic level

The headrush a cigarette gives is from lack of oxygen because of the smoke, as well as the 3000+ chemicals you're inhaling. You're not going to get that from vapor. I don't think lack of oxygen is the main thing here, the head rush is delayed from the first few inhales, its definitely a chemical rush.

I find that I have more of a standard level of nicotine in my system with the e-cig. Except when I use my 6v mod, I have to be real careful not to vape too much on it because it is so good, but can give a serious rush. If I were going to use it all the time I'd lower the amount of nic I use in my liquid.

Someone explained on another thread that the head rush from analogs was from carbon monoxide, not nicotine. So, you may not get that same kind of head rush/buzz from vaping?

Moonstruck Super Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

I'm still really new here at this forum, but I think Kristin is right. If you do some basic research about nicotine, it's pretty harmless except for its addictive nature (which is huge, of course). It's the carbon monixide that gives smokers the "light-headed" or "head rush" feeling, and you don't get CO from vaping.
