Why does my vape cartridge turn on when charging?

I know this has a battery imbalance, but my mod turns on even though the battery percentage says "00%". My friend is giving me his external charger soon. Should I charge the 0.65 volt battery up to balance with the other battery? Will it be safe to use?

Had this on mine - bought a new battery and still happened. Replaced coil and still happened... took battery out and when turned on it asked if new coil, click yes and it didn't work - still said 'Check Battery'. Turned off and on again and when it asked if new coil i pressed no and now works with no problems! - strange!!!

I recently started getting the "check battery" on my al85. I'm not sure what the cause is, but I was messing around with the settings and found that changing it to memory mode allows me to Vape again with no problems.

There's several reasons you see battery low on the mod. One of course has to do with the batteries, if they're charged the mod can still show "low" if they're old or broken.

Sounds like a fault in the mod to me if your batteries are fine. It could be something electrical. I'm not good at that stuff, but if it's under warranty I'd probably return it.
