How to remove the cooling unit from a Mighty?

Start by removing the cooling unit from the top of the Mighty. Rotate the mouthpiece back and forth and gently pull it away from the cooling until it pops loose, then use the multi-tool to remove the tiny blue o-ring. Slide the cap lock -- the bit with the hologram -- away from the mouthpiece, pull it up and off, and set it aside. You don’t need to clean it, and doing so will discolor the detailing. Separate the bottom and top halves of the cooling unit by pushing down on the button right next to where the cap lock would sit. If it doesn’t budge, turn the Mighty up to high, let it heat up, then take several slow draws to loosen it up. Once separated, use the multi-tool to carefully remove the blue rings and screen from the lower half.

Maintaining your Mighty Vaporizer

How often you need to clean your vaporiser will depend greatly on how often you use the device. Storz & Bickel recommends that you clean your device at least once per week.

The right cleaning tools

The first step will be to get the right tools to clean your vaporiser.

Take the vaporiser apart

Step 1: You will now have to use the tools that are provided with the Mighty Vaporizer to take all of the removable parts off. You will need to remove the cooling unit which is on the top of the vaporiser. This is done by unscrewing it until it loosens.

Soak the parts

You will now have to soak the removable parts in the isopropyl alcohol. The only part that you do not soak is the cap lock (the part with the Mighty logo on it) and the seal rings. The other parts will need to be soaked for around 30 minutes to remove dry herb debris, but you should never soak them for longer than an hour.

Take it apart

First, wiggle and pull the mouthpiece out of its socket. Then, slide the cap lock - the holographic logo - towards the mouthpiece socket, pull it up and off, and set it aside.

What to soak

Fill your container with a bit of rubbing alcohol and soak everything but the cap lock and o-rings for about 30 minutes, or until all the pieces are gunk free. Then, rinse each piece off with warm water and set them out to dry.

Clean the oven

While everything is soaking, take a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol and wipe the oven clean of any sticky substances. Hold your Mighty+ upside down while you do this to keep the electronics safe from liquid damage.

Reassemble

Once all the other pieces are dry, it’s time to throw it back together. Insert the stainless steel screen back into the cooling unit, and put the o-rings back onto the mouthpiece and cooling unit. Then, put the two halves of the cooling unit back together, reattach the cap lock, and place the mouthpiece back into its socket.

Run a burnoff

Finally, we’ll run a quick burnoff to dissolve any leftover residue before it's ready for use. Turn your Mighty+ on to the highest temperature setting. Let it run through a full session until it turns itself off. And that's it!

Tips for a cleaner vaporizer

A deep cleaning will always be necessary at some point, but if you want to keep your vaporizer cleaner for longer, get in the habit of brushing out the oven after each session. A lot of buildup occurs as the vape is cooling down with dry herbs still inside, and this simple step will save you a lot of time in the long run.
