Why does smoke smell so bad?

Why is that? Smoke creates what is known as a “coating effect.” The coating effect is caused by volatile organic compounds that linger in the air long after the combustion has ceased. Depending on the compounds found in the combusted material, that smell could be a signal of toxin build-up in the immediate environment. Because these compounds are sticky, it is often difficult to clear away the smoky smell.

Why is there smoke in a combustible material?

Smoke occurs whenever there is incomplete combustion, which means there is not enough oxygen to fully burn the aflame material. The leftover, unburned particles go up into the air as smoke, which is often why so much smoke is created in the early stages of combusting material.

Does smoke dissipate quickly?

Does vaporizer smell?

Vaporizing materials, on the other hand, typically does not result in a long-lasting or hard-to-get-rid-of smell . Vaping is more closely related to what happens when you boil a pot of water. When used properly, vapes do not combust the materials loaded into the chamber or contained in the cartridge.

So thats the water vapour not steam ( steam is also gasious form of water but it contains more latent heat than water vapour thus a steam can cause a burn injury but a vapour of water is that we live side by side has no harm having minimum heat to remain in gasious form) , it not accually emitts from concerned ice cube rather it is the water vapour already present in the air but too small to see , as the current temparature of atmosphere made it to remain scattered , now when the ice cube is brought to the system then it stars to gain heat from atmosphere to equalize in temparature thats a lengthy process so in that time the atmosphere surrounding the cube became cooler and so did the moisture (water vapour) in it as the temperature getting low the particles comes closer to each other as a result of decreasing the internal energy of themselves so they form relatively large particles (by joining) of vapour that you can visualize..and the foggy or smokey effect forms …its the same process of formation of clouds just involving the temperature decrease due to increase in altitude.

What is it called when you exhale when it's cold outside?

This scientific process is called condensation. When you exhale when it's cold outside, the water vapor in your breath condenses into lots of tiny droplets of liquid water and ice (solid water) that you can see in the air as a cloud, similar to fog.
