What temperature should you set your vape to?

Common vaping temperatures are in the range 390°F to 480°F (200°C to 250°C ), with the temperature usually adjusted quickly in increments of 10°F (5°C). Set your target temperature. Hopefully, you’ll get a good vape and, because it’s TC, you should be able to take really long hits without fear of overheating the coil and wick.

How does temperature affect vape wire resistance?

When you vape with Kanthal (the most popular vape wire), that resistance value doesn’t change. That’s a particular property of Kanthal: its resistance is static regardless of its temperature. For TC vaping, you’ll use wires that have a known resistance-increase as their temperature rises.

What coil does The Breeze 2 come with?

The Breeze 2 comes with the 0.6-ohm coil of the original Breeze and a new 1.0-ohm Utech coil head. They both wick from two small holes and one larger slot.

What is the difference between Breeze 1 and Breeze 2?

The Breeze 2 dimensions are 95 mm x 35 mm x 19 mm, just slightly taller and wider than the first version. But it’s barely noticeable. Interestingly, the Breeze 2 weighs less than the original — likely because the long metal chimney is gone, and the mouthpiece is a much thinner plastic than before.

Aspire Breeze 2 Airflow System

Adjusting the airflow is simple, just pull off the mouthpiece and turn the knurled airflow adjustment ring to your liking.

Aspire Breeze 2 Pod

The ‘pod’ comes in two capacities, a 2ml TPD compliant version and a 3ml standard version. To remove the pod just squeeze the pod release buttons on each side of the device to release and remove the pod system. To re-insert, just place the pod back into the power unit, and push down firmly until it ‘clicks’ into place.

Aspire Breeze 2 Coil Installation

Coil installation is easy too, just pull and remove the drip tip, unscrew and pull out the chimney unit. Then detach the atomizer from the airflow control ring and replace it with a new one. Screw the chimney unit back to the pod system and replace the drip tip section.

Aspire Breeze 2 Atomizer

The Breeze 2 comes pre-installed with a 1.0-ohm U-tech coil (specifically designed for nicotine salt type e-liquids)

Aspire Breeze 2 Filling

Squeeze pod and lift the silicon seal, place the filling bottle/dropper into the pod filling hole squeeze the filling bottle/dropper bulb to add your preferred e-liquid into the pod system. Replace the silicone seal firmly and re-insert the pod into the power unit.

Aspire Breeze 2 Charging

Charge via the Micro USB port. Maximum charge current can reach up to 800mA. When the USB cable is attached the Breeze 2 indicator light will flash blue and orange three times.

What is the coil size of the Breeze 2?

The Breeze 2 comes with the 0.6-ohm coil of the original Breeze and a new 1.0-ohm Utech coil head. They both wick from two small holes and one larger slot. The 0.6-ohm head has larger wicking holes than the higher resistance heads, which is ideal for higher viscosity juices. In general, both coils work really well.

How big is the Breeze 2?

The Breeze 2 dimensions are 95 mm x 35 mm x 19 mm, just slightly taller and wider than the first version. But it’s barely noticeable. Interestingly, the Breeze 2 weighs less than the original — likely because the long metal chimney is gone, and the mouthpiece is a much thinner plastic than before.

How to adjust airflow on a Vape?

Adjust the airflow you want by turning the knurled ring, then return the mouthpiece. Wait about five minutes for the coil to saturate, then quickly press the fire button five times to turn on the device. Vape. Using the pod release buttons is pure fun. They work well with the latches on the deck to secure the pods.

How many mm does a Breeze 2 pod have?

Refilling the pod is simple due to the Breeze 2 having a 5 mm fill opening. And the anchored plug totally seals the ports – there’s been absolutely no leaking. Maybe a faint layer of condensation once or twice, but typically the bottom of the pod and battery housing is dry.

How many parts does the Breeze 2 have?

The Breeze is a simple device, but a beginner might get a little confused at first. And I think the instruction manual is lacking. The Breeze 2 has five main parts: a battery, coil heads, a pod, a mouthpiece, and an airflow controller. It has three buttons, a fire button located on the front, and two pod-release buttons on the side.

Is the Breeze 2 PCC compatible?

All things considered, I’d still prefer a long charge and long battery life than the opposite. The Breeze 2 is not PCC (Portable Charger Case) compatible like the original, but the charge port has been moved up along the side, instead of the bottom of the device.

Is the Breeze 2 a disposable pod?

The pod for the Breeze 2 is thick and durable. It’s not the cheap disposable kind of pod we’re so used to. It’s easy to clean, and it’s easy to monitor your juice levels. Despite it being dark-tinted, nothing obstructs the view from either side of the device.

Aspire Breeze 2

Aspire released the original Breeze quite a while back, and we have since seen plenty of manufacturers trying to copy their design.

The Good

Elegant compact design, brilliant battery life, clever pod release system, excellent flavor and vape experience.

The Bad

Not a constant voltage, LED indicators are hard to see, removing the mouthpiece can be a hassle.

The Bottom Line

Aspire stepped up the game from the original Breeze. The Breeze 2 has a simple but modern design, with an innovative pod release system. It has the ability to produce a restricted DTL and MTL vape, with good airflow and excellent flavor and is powered by an impressive 1000mAh internal battery- The best refillable pod system on the market.

In the Box

I love the fact that Aspire kept to the same form and shape as the original, and have managed to bump up the internal battery to 1000mAh.

LED LIghts

The Breeze 2 has an interesting use of LED lights to indicate both use and charging.

Charging

There is a micro USB port for charging; it’s located beneath the left pod release button on the device.

What coils does the Aspire Breeze 2 use?

The Aspire Breeze 2 kit includes its own set of proprietary coil systems, the Breeze U-Tech 0.6 ohm and 1.0-ohm coils. These don’t generate a lot of heat on their own so they provide a very relaxed vaping experience.

How big is the Aspire Breeze 2?

With its dimensions measuring out to a mere 19mm by 35mm by 96mm, the Aspire Breeze 2 is definitely one of the more compact all in ones available in the market today, although not as tiny as some of its potential competitors such as the Kandypens Rubi.

Is the Aspire Breeze 2 fully viewable?

The one that stands out the most is the overhauled e-liquid reservoir which is now fully viewable thanks to the polycarbonate material.

It looks like they do take feedback. I am not a fan of the rubber grommet fill port. The rest of the mod looks good though.

I have to say that this guy does reviews very well. They are quick, insightful and thorough. Anyone knows who he is?

Just ordered one of these for an out and about pants pocket setup. I have high hopes.

I have been using mine for the last week. Currently testing the 0.6ohm coil and the battery drains fairly quickly. Vape has good flavor and is consistent.

I bought a five pack of 1 ohm coils, sounds like they would be my style. I will have to check out vids of people rebuilding them, that would be great!

spaceman84 Super Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

Flavor and vapor production is much better with the 0.6ohm coils and they last longer too. Well worth charging the device more frequently in my opinion.

Just got one to try, I’m normally using a DNA75c mod with various RTA ’s. But wanted to try a smaller true pocket device. Read and watched most of the top reviewers, and glad I ended up with the improved V2 model. Pull at wide open is a bit tighter then I normally use my RTA’s at, but the flavor is pretty good.

For pre-filled oil cartridges, set your pen to 3.3V

Prefilled 510 thread cartridges require lower temperatures because the material is thinner and easier to heat. We recommend starting at the lowest voltage, 3.3V, and moving up to 3.8V if it’s not giving you enough of a hit. Some oils have a thicker consistency, so just turn the dial incrementally until you get the desired hit.

For dabs (wax), set your pen between 4.0V-4.3V

Wax is typically thick, so it will take more heat to get it going. Once you load the dab in your atomizer or attachment , set the voltage at 4.0V. Take a hit and expect a big cloud with crystal clear terpene flavors.

Pro tips for extending battery life

It’s actually a myth that turning your battery on and off between sessions will drain the battery. The opposite is true! Making sure your battery is fully resting during the hours between hits will improve your overall battery life between charges.

What is temperature control vaping?

Temperature control vaping can be an amazing experience. It provides the security of consistency that wattage vaping often lacks. No one likes dry or burnt hits, or vapes that get too hot with long hits. TC vaping solves that.

Why is my vape consistent?

Vape consistency: By having control over the temperature your coils can rise to, the vape will be consistent from puff to puff, and even within one puff. In regular wattage mode, the hits are more inconsistent because the heat of the coil changes based on the length of the hit.

What is the best wire for vaping?

TC vaping generally uses one of these four types of vape wires: 1 Stainless steel: this wire is very popular and readily available. It comes in various grades such as 304, 316, 316L, 317, and 430 but the most common is SS316L. SS can be used in wattage or temperature control mode. 2 Nickel 200: commonly known as ni200, it was the first temperature control coil but it’s less common now due to some vapers having sensitivities to nickel. 3 Titanium Grade 1: otherwise known as Ti. It works well in TC but the user has to make sure it does not get overheated. 4 Nickel ferrous: also known as NiFe, comes in various grades such as 48, 30, 52, 70 and can be used in either mode, but is not widely available.

What type of wire do you use for vaping?

Next, you must vape with the right wire type. TC vaping generally uses one of these four types of vape wires: Stainless steel: this wire is very popular and readily available. It comes in various grades such as 304, 316, 316L, 317, and 430 but the most common is SS316L. SS can be used in wattage or temperature control mode.

Can you adjust wattage on a vape mod?

Prior to TC, most top vape mods could only adjust watts (another innovation from Evolv a few years prior.) Now in 2020, like wattage control, temperature control is a feature found in most vape mods.

Can you take long hits with a TC vape?

Hopefully, you’ll get a good vape and, because it’s TC, you should be able to take really long hits without fear of overheating the coil and wick. It should be just like normal—except when you run out of juice you’ll notice the vapor dropping off significantly. Adjust the temperature up or down if necessary.

Do vape mods have TC?

First and foremost, a vape mod that supports TC. Most mods on the market come with a TC mode, although it is often left out from otherwise fully capable pod mods. If unsure, check the specs before buying a mod—or use the search function on this website. If a vape mod does TC, we will test it!
