I'm still kinda new at this but I'm wondering what wattage everyone else is using as I said I have a Nautilus Aspire with mini volt and I'm afraid to go over 9.5w also it has the soft standard & power settings power being the hottest. Do the have better built otimizers or is there just one kind.

traksta1 Postman

You are right in the ballpark with 9.5w on the Nautilus using the 1.8ohm coils @Gjbarrett i.m.o. The exact wattage you choose will depend on mostly how warm you like the vape to be. Different juices may cause you to go up or down a watt or two to get what you perceive to be the best out of them as well.

I usually use the nautilus at around 13 watts....on a 1.8 coil. Some juices need this to get the flavour from them. Some juices may for example taste like crap at 9w and taste amazing at 13w...experiment.

scottish-jim Achiever

I use mine at 12W on a 1.6 coil and get good vapour and flavour from my 55VG liquid. Wouldn't go any higher than 14W so just play around till you find the setting that you like.

around 10w for me ... although it varies, 8.5w is suprisingly good for bringing out the ginger in my Waxahachie.

What is the wattage of a box mod?

The wattage of a box mod, in layman’s terms, is essentially the amount of power you send from the mod’s battery to the atomizer (AKA your vape tank). Higher wattages equal more power, and this, in turn, creates a hotter, more intense hit. And more vapor. If you want those BIG clouds, you gotta run your vape mod at higher wattages.

What is sub ohm tank?

Sub-Ohm tanks are designed to produce more clouds. They do this by having a lower resistance (0.2ohms, for instance), and this allows for less electrical resistance which in turn allows for more signal to flow to the atomizer.

What are the benefits of temperature control?

Benefits of Temperature Control Vaping 1 Better Flavor Control: Certain E Juices perform better at different temperatures. For instance: having a lower temperature might bring out the sweetness more. Or, going higher could bring out richer tones. 2 Fewer Dry Hits: Because the maximum temperature is locked, you won’t get anywhere near as many dry hits – the atomizer just can’t get enough power to do it. 3 Increased Coil Life Span: With the temperature locked, you’re not maxing out the coil every time you vape, which means the coil head will last longer. 4 You Use Less Vape Juice: Again, with the temperature locked in, you can find a sweet spot where you get great flavor at lower temperatures (and, therefore, power). Less power means less E Juice burned.
