If you smoked analogs for decades (like me), your taste buds are probably shot. I hear they come back after you quit smoking, but I haven't noticed it yet. I've been off analogs and on vaporizers since July and my taste buds are still AWOL. Regardless of which juice I try or what the flavor is supposed to be, I taste nothing or almost nothing.

I am having the same issue. I got new liquids vape one for about an hour then it loses its flavor. I clean my atomizer try another flavor, same thing happens. I don't know if its taste buds or what. The one flavor that so far it hasn't happened to is cinnamon. So I don't know how to fix this.

I think a lot of it has to do with the quality of your juice and how it was made. Also take a look at your pg:vg rations and try mixing those up a bit. Virgin vapors has all organic juices that are dripping with flavor and they also will add extra flavoring if you ask for it. hope this helps

Is vaping e juice good?

There are many benefits to vaping e-juice that doesn't have a strong flavor. Here's a closer look at the differences between flavored and unflavored e-liquid and eight reasons why you should give it a try.

PG – The Once and Future King

Propylene glycol was once the reigning king of e-juices. Although it has ceded that crown slightly to its hip new cousin, VG, it’s still a vital component in 95% of vape juice. As a byproduct of petroleum, propylene glycol is commonly found in household items like toothpaste, medical products, and various beauty products.

VG – The Challenger

Vegetable glycerin is found in all kinds of products, from food sweeteners to additives in baked goods which helps keep them moist. In fact, it is derived from vegetable oil, which makes this a relatively natural alternative to PG. That having been said, there are some pros and cons to consider.

Do We Have to Choose Only One?

Why does vape taste bad?

Why do vape coils burn?

Does vaping affect your taste buds?

The first thing I should point out is that “vaper’s tongue” isn’t actually a problem with your taste buds or your tongue at all. As Katrina Schuster at Mt. Baker Vapor points out, your tongue only has the ability to pickup five different sensations: sweet, sour, bitter, salty and savory – it’s the olfactory sensors at the top of your nasal passage that allow your brain to decipher different flavors.

Rinse out your mouth. Since vapor fatigue is caused by your olfactory senses, this is another case where minty aromas may be the key.
