I'm thinking that my surging problem was exactly as has been discussed on this page. Had a KangerTech RTA setup at 0.09 ohms set at 410 F and 30-40W. Which is where I was running it on an IPV4 except in J.

Not sure if this has been covered or if it's similar to BillLee's issue, but I've noticed with my Snow Wolf while using the Ni200 Arctic coils, it's inconsistent. Vaping at 500* around 60W gives me a nice warm flavorful vape just the way I prefer. If I let the mod go into sleep, after waking it, the vape is no where near as warm or flavorful.

The Snow Wold goes into standby and it does clock down till it recognizes that the Build is Nickle or Canthal or at least mine does that is why when I switch from my RBA Ni200 Build to my Tank Canthal build I always turn temp down to 212F cause it has to pick up the canthal build.

Anyone know how to lock in your resistance? I've notice a lot of new tc devices have a way to lock in your resistance. I never really knew about that. Can it be done on the snowwolf? and is it necessary to do?
How many watts does a 200 watt machine use?
Most 200 watt machines-- all two-battery ones I know of-- pulse the power above about 150 watts or so to stay within the battery's ability to deliver power; that is, they are not true 200 watt RMS continuous machines. They deliver 200 watts, yes, but in very short pulses with a rest inbetween.

They deliver 200 watts, yes, but in very short pulses with a rest inbetween. This doesn't actually matter much in practice because coils that will take 200 watts are usually pretty massive and they have a good bit of heat latency (they take a while to cool down after the power comes off).
Can you vape 200 watts?
The quick answer is you don't. There are plenty of mathematical models that will get you to 200 watts, but you couldn't vape it longer than about a second because it would be so hot. And like Mr. Cromwell said, trying to do it on two 18650's is a joke. they always drop into pulse width modulation to sort of attain it.
