I think the best you can do is use a 306 atty with the wick pulled out.Its very easy to change the flavors in a 306 atty and when you remove the wick its even easier to change the flavors.Plus it picks up flavors nicely Ive been using a 306 atty on my ego for a week now and i cant say theres been much flavor meshing.

Not sure how to do this with carts. I use atomizers and drip when testing flavors. After I have tested the flavor, I blow out the atomizer, drip straight PG and vape till it is gone. That way I can use the same atomizer for different flavor tests.

For whatever it's worth, when testing flavors I also 'clean' the atty by blowing out the liquid, blotting with the corner of a paper towel and then vaping straight VG in my case, until the flavor is gone. I've also gone the route of dedicated cartomizers, but found that keeping them marked adequately was a real pain in the neck.

I use contact lens cases and in one side I mix a small amount just to get an idea of the taste and strength. Then I dip a 401 atty in the mix and vape. In the other side I put plain VG and before testing the next flavor I dip the 401 in VG and mouth vape it until there's no lingering flavor.

1. Low Battery

The first thing to check when you stop getting the desired flavor from your vape is your device’s batteries.

2. Cartridge

If you’re using a vape with a cartridge, this could be a sign that it’s time to swap out for a fresh one. Your device may be pulling just enough leftover liquid to give you a vapor cloud, but you definitely won’t be getting the robust flavor of a full, or even half-full, vape pod.

3. Atomizers

If you haven’t swapped out your atomizer lately, it might be time to do so. As you fill your tank and vape it down to zero again and again, small amounts of residue build up on your coil. This can cause the coil to heat poorly or unevenly. Sure, you will still get some vapor with continued use, but you definitely won’t enjoy the taste.

4. Adjusting Your Device

After checking for any parts that may have worn out, it’s time to try adjusting your device. Some flavors perform best in drip atomizers, while others do well in tanks. Adjusting your wattage upward may bring out flavors that were missing at first.

5. Steeping Your Liquid

On the less technical side of things, it could be that your liquid needs some time to steep before you vape it. The need to steep e-liquids is often a result of manufacturers shipping the products out immediately after mixing without letting them settle first.
