Inconsistent wicking could lead to the coil heating up and etc. leading to an inconsistent vape experience. It could be that as well, so you might want to test your SS build in wattage mode first (at around the wattage you'd be using for ramp-up TC) although it probably still won't be as specific as TC.

Dropping the watts down to 25 really seems to be helping. Much more consistent TC vape at the moment.
Why won't my mod turn on?
Usually if a mod won't turn on unless it's plugged in means bad battery contact or something in the mod blew and won't let it make contact . Also if the batteries are drained bellow the modes safety range it won't turn on but it should show the splash screen then turn off unless there way way low.
