This may sound weird but it may depend on the car also. No problem in the Mustang it did not build up. The MB was horrible, nothing would get it off. The Xterra I just wipe with a kitchen towel.

Rain x makes a fog free wipe for interiors that may work, just have to get the windows squeaky clean before applying.

To keep Vapor Residue off the windshield, exhale out the window is 1st, 2nd use a cleaner like Armor All Glass cleaner, 3rd finish off with a Microfiber cleaning cloth. The reason I recommend this is because there is no Ammonia in it which is detrimental to your interior.
