Trim your cotton and keep it OUT of the juice channels; they should rest on top of them Keep ALL your cotton inside the deck (and make sure the ends are nice and fluffy) Add a SMALL amount of juice to test things out; if it’s working as desired, fill her up!
Are RTA tanks bad for vaping?
RTA tank leaks are VERY common too – and super annoying. For newbie vapers, this can be really demoralising as well because RTA tanks – at least, on paper – are the perfect combination of juice capacity and RDA-like flavor.
What is an RTA tank and should you buy one?
RTA tank leaks are VERY common too – and super annoying. For newbie vapers, this can be really demoralising as well because RTA tanks – at least, on paper – are the perfect combination of juice capacity and RDA-like flavor. On paper, they take elements from sub-ohm tanks and RDAs and combine them inside one device.
Is my RTA tank leaking?
It’s most likely the former, though defects in RTA tanks (like all tanks) can happen. Make sure all your O-Rings are in place and sit as they should; these O-Rings help create a vacuum inside the tank and, once your coil is installed correctly, with proper wicking, this ensures leaks do not happen.
Are RTA tanks unforgiving?
And RTA tanks are unforgiving; things have to be just right or your RTA tank leaks or you get burnt-tasting dry hits. And no one wants that. Some RTAs are easier to wick than others; the Griffin 25 RTA, for instance, is notoriously difficult to get right, while the Dovpo Blotto is a lot easier – it also doesn’t leak.

Vandy Vape Triple II RTA Intro
The triple II is not a new tank, its the sequel to the Vandy Vape Triple 28 RTA designed in cooperation with Twisted 420 which was a tank designed to support triple or dual coils, have a postless build deck and a 28mm diameter.
What Is it?
The Vandy Vape Triple II RTA is once again designed by Twisted 420 (Twisted 419 on YouTube post CBD shakeup). Its still a big atty, coming in at 28mm diameter, it has 4ml standard glass, but this time has the addition of a fancy resin 7ml bubble glass.
Our Vibe
The original Triple RTA had a full-on, deep, cloudy vape. However, as you’d expect running three coils meant the one big con was that it sucks through the juice. Although, the Triple II still comes with 4ml, it’s good to see the 7ml resin bubble – which I have to say gives it whole new look and an excellent stylish one at that.

Conclusion
This tank definitely checks off a lot of the boxes for a lot of vapers in today’s market. You have your choice of using dual or triple coils. It definitely is for the airflow hogs out there. It has great flavor and it is one cloud beast of a tank.
First Impression Out Of The Box
Nice packaging, unfortunately though, it is typical Vandy Vape. They really got to do something about their packaging and up their game a bit. It is a two-tier style box with the preassembled tank, spare glass, and extra drip tip on the top tier. The bag of goodies is on the second tier. First impression is whoa! This thing is big.
From Top To Bottom
So far, I have reviewed every product that Vandy Vape has ever made. With every atomizer I have ever received, they have always included more than one drip tip. I think that is absolutely awesome of them. Of course, the Triple RTA is no different. I love the stock drip tip that they included.
The Deck
This is where this tank truly shines. This deck is unique and it really is a joy to build on. We have 3 terminal openings on each side of this postless deck for a total of 6 terminals. Each terminal measures 2.5 mm by 2.5 mm. Definitely big enough to get some really nice sized coils in there.
Building And Wicking
Building on the Triple is pretty easy. I mean, the deck really is as straightforward as it gets. You can go with a triple-coil build or a dual-coil build. I have run both types of builds in this tank and I have to say, I definitely prefer a triple coil build.
How Does It Vape
This tank vapes great. If you like a really wet, saturated, dense, full, flavorful, cloudy vape, then you will absolutely love the Triple RTA. I normally hate bringing another tank into a review but the best way I can describe the vape quality of this tank is that it vapes very similarly to the Aromamizer Plus.

RTA Tank and Correct Wicking
Wicking is an art form. Once you have it locked down, it becomes second nature – sort of like driving or riding a bike.
RTA Tank Leaks ALL THE TIME?
This could be down to your wicking and/or the tank itself. It’s most likely the former, though defects in RTA tanks (like all tanks) can happen.
RTA Tank Leaks & Other Issues
Bottom line: RTA tanks are fiddly. And everybody that has ever used them knows this. For this reason, you gotta bring your A-Game when using them.
Want An RTA Tank That DOES NOT Leak?
Well, I have news for you: there are RTA tanks that do just that – not leak.
