With joules you take the number of watt seconds and divide by the total number of seconds that power is applied. So 10 watt seconds applied over 10 seconds of time is 1 watt per second. 10 joules applied for 10 seconds is also 1 watt per second. 10 joules only equals 10 watts if it's only applied for 1 second. More experienced vapors on the other hand can look at investing in a variable voltage/wattage device. Once you are more experienced and into the vaping game variable voltagewattage devices are certainly the best and safest way to adjust the wattage in your device.

How to convert joules (J) to watts (W)?

Joules (J) to watts (W) calculator. Enter the energy in joules, time period in seconds and press the Calculate button: The power P in watts (W) is equal to the energy E in joules (J), divided by the time period t in seconds (s):

How does wattage affect your vape?

Essentially it refers to the rate in which electricity is used and can be defined as (Voltage x Voltage) / Resistance = Wattage. So as you can see that as either the battery Voltage changes or the Resistance of the atomizer coil changes, the wattage consequently will also change. So how does this affect your vape?

What do Watts mean on a vape?

A higher wattage equals more power provided to the coil. As the power is increased, the coil produces warmer, larger clouds of vapour from your vape – ideal for creating tricks, such as smoke rings. On the other hand, for cooler vapour clouds, simply turn the wattage right down.

Is Juul a lung to the mouth?

The draw on a JUUL is very similar to a cigarette. You can get a real mouth to lung style draw from it, and the clouds are minimal. The vapor temp is regulated by an internal chip, which is nice for battery life and flavor.

What wattage should I vape with high VG?

When it comes to your VG/PG ratio, you'll want to ideally look at a 70:30 balance here. You could use a 50:50 juice but because you're likely vaping at a higher wattage (anything over 20 watts), using more PG will give a much harsher throat hit.

How many joules is 1mj?

Joules in the way it's used on the YiHi chips is a pretty meaningless term. They should have just called it Watts and been done with it.

Bottom line, no mod that uses "joules" really uses joules as power output. Like any other TC mods, they regulate wattage on the fly according to your manually selected max temperature and max wattage, if applicable. On these mods that employ joules like the ones based on YiHi chips, the joule setting is just a trendy rebadged term for watts.

Can LiPo batteries explode?

When working with Li-ion (Lithium-ion), LiPo (Lithium-ion Polymer) and any rechargeable cells, please be cautious and carefully use as they are very sensitive to charging characteristics and may explode or burn if mishandled. Please make sure that you have great knowledge on all rechargeable batteries before you use them. Always charge batteries at the clean and fire-proof surface. Never leave charging batteries unattended. If you see that there are visible damages on the batteries, please do not use. Always keep, store and transport the rechargeable cells in a safe, non-conductive container in controlled environment

What About Temperature Control Vaping?

I don’t tend to mess around with Temperature Control vaping that much; I tend to prefer wattage mode – I just like things nice and simple.

What is Trailblazer vape juice?

But then I tried Trailblazer which is a tobacco flavored juice that combines butterscotch and peanut butter. It’s rich, sumptuous, and very much an all-day vape and personal favorite of mine. I highly recommend this juice.

What is the wattage of a box mod?

The wattage of a box mod, in layman’s terms, is essentially the amount of power you send from the mod’s battery to the atomizer (AKA your vape tank). Higher wattages equal more power, and this, in turn, creates a hotter, more intense hit. And more vapor. If you want those BIG clouds, you gotta run your vape mod at higher wattages.

How much power does a sub ohm tank need?

Most Modern Sub Ohm Tanks Will Not Require More Than 80W – Even The High-Power Ones.

What happens if you prime a tank and load it on a mod?

If you prime your coil and load the tank onto a mod and then crank it up to 200W, one thing will happen: you’ll burn the coil out instantly ( and likely cough your guts up).

What does higher wattage mean?

Higher wattages equal more power, and this, in turn, creates a hotter, more intense hit. And more vapor.

Do box mods run batteries?

Box mods also run multiple 18650 cells too, which means battery life is MILES better than it is on pod mods like the JUUL or single-cell mech mods like VGOD Mech Pro.

What is Wattage?

Essentially it refers to the rate in which electricity is used and can be defined as (Voltage x Voltage) / Resistance = Wat tage. So as you can see that as either the battery Voltage changes or the Resistance of the atomizer coil changes, the wattage consequently will also change. So how does this affect your vape? Well, when Wattage is increased, either by increasing the Voltage that the Atomizer Coil receives or by decreasing the Ohms (resistance) of an Atomizer Coil, the outcome will be more vapor, more flavor and also warmer vapor.

How does sub ohming work?

Apart from lowering the resistance, sub ohming also relies on increasing the power. When you increase the power flowing through the vape atomizer coils, you increase the amount of heat generated, heating up the e-liquid to a higher temperature which results in greater and thicker cloud production when compared to ordinary vapes. Just a quick side note here; since more power increases the heat generated you will have to allow for more airflow in order to counterbalance the heat with some more air. Less airflow creates hotter vapor and more airflow cools the vapor. There is no right and wrong way to do this, so you’ll just have to experiment and see what you prefer.

Does less airflow make vapor hotter?

Less airflow creates hotter vapor and more airflow cools the vapor. There is no right and wrong way to do this, so you’ll just have to experiment and see what you prefer. So let’s dig a bit deeper and look at what a watt is and how it actually affects your vape.

How to thin out a PG tank?

If you want to thin out the juice you already have, you can add a drop or two of straight PG into your tank and shake well. If you don't have any PG on hand, you can also use a few drops of distilled (at the very least filtered) water right into your tank. Just so you know, this will dilute the flavor just a bit but if you don't use too much, you shouldn't notice.

Can you run 70VG 30PG in a subvod?

I run 70VG/30PG in the Subvods I have, and they do very well. If your juice is too thick it won't wick very well. One thing is for certain, you will not win any cloud competitions with a Subvod. But they will produce pretty good with the right coil and juice.

Can Kanger coils get too tight?

The only thing I can suggest at this point is a juice with a little more PG in it. The vertical Kanger coils have cotton that can get packed too tight and won't allow good juice flow when using a high VG juice.
