How long will one charge last?

A common question vape users have is: how long does a vape battery last?

What is an 18650 battery?

If someone stopped me on the street to ask if I knew what an 18650 was, I wouldn’t have a clue, even though I’ve seen them everywhere. I would probably guess it was some sort of car battery and oddly, I wouldn’t be wrong.

What is a milliampere-hour?

Batteries have a lot of specifications, one of them is the mAh. This number tells us how much energy the battery can store – the higher the number, the more energy it stores.

What is a charging cycle?

Every rechargeable battery has an average lifespan measured in charge cycles. Electronic devices like your phone, wireless headphones, and vape pen all use batteries that eventually wear out and need replacing.

What is battery health?

Like living things, batteries have an overall health that can decline for any number of reasons.

Keep Your Vape Batteries Away From Extreme Temperatures

Using or storing your vape mod in extreme heat or cold is one of the worst things that you can do for battery life and longevity. Extreme temperatures sap the power out of batteries and can cause chemical changes that reduce the batteries’ capacity permanently. A lithium-ion battery is always happiest in a cool room.

Buy a Second Pair of Batteries

One way to help your batteries last as long as possible is by giving them periodic rests instead of using them constantly. If you have only one pair of batteries for your mod, it means that you’re always either using the batteries or recharging them. If that’s the case, the batteries probably won’t last long.

Buy a Good Battery Charger

A good standalone battery charger is one of the absolute best things that you can buy if you’re a committed vaper.

Use a More Efficient Vape Tank

The final thing that you can do to improve the battery life of your vape mod is to choose vaping hardware that doesn’t generate as much of a load.

A lot of people don't understand how battery amp draw in VW devices works. Sometimes I think we're still stuck back in the mechanical and VV mod days

Someone needs to take me to school on this because I still don't understand.

volts x amps = watts. If batteries are stacked like in a flashlight, then they are what is called "in series". One + and one - on top of the box mod. If both + are on the top of the box mod then they are called "parallel". Now the next part.....when in series, you add up all the volts when fully charged and there is your voltage.

OK, even easier. Hook it up and fire it, if it burns your eyeballs, turn it down, if you dont get a good throat hit, turn it up. I assume you are trying to figure out which mech to buy, go to a nice shop and ask them to let you try out a few on your tank. Then once you have it figured out, tip them a fiver.
