Why does my vape juice taste bad after a while?

Usually, if the battery is the culprit, you should notice the flavor dropping off a little at a time as it discharges. This is because as the batteries drain, they become less efficient at vaporizing the PG that carries the flavor in your juice.

How can I Make my vape taste better?

Adjusting airflow inside your vape device will make flavours fresher and brighter. Tightening your airflow will usually produce vapour that tastes richer and stronger while opening it up will give you airier, softer and more diffuse flavours.

Is it normal for a vape to have no flavor?

It depends. There are many reasons why you may be experiencing a vape with no flavor. Some of them are related to your device, but another type of reaction related to taste fatigue could also be the issue. Here are some ways to identify the problem and fix it.

What happens if you let too much air in your vape?

And too much air rushing onto your coil can dull vapour flavour even more than not enough air can. Mouth-to-lung e-cigarettes are designed to work with restricted airflow to allow short bursts of intensely-flavoured vapour with even the shortest of puffs. This means they won’t give you as much flavour if you allow too much air in.

Why can't I taste the flavor in my vape?

Vaping can sometimes cause a dry mouth simply by requiring so much mouth breathing (inhaling a vape), which can dry up saliva. When we don't have enough saliva, the ability to taste is almost non-existent. Flavor fatigue is another culprit behind vape tongue resulting in you not tasting your e-juice.

Why does my vape juice taste weird?

A dry hit happens when you hit your e-cig and there's not enough vape juice soaking into the wick inside your coil so the material of the wick itself gets singed. It tastes something awful and dry hitting a coil too many times can actually make it so burnt that it permanently gives off that terrible taste.

Do vapes actually taste good?

Many smokers shun trying electronic cigarettes because they are convinced they don't taste like real cigarettes. That's true, but with so many other amazing flavors to try, it doesn't even matter. In fact, most vapers can't even stand the taste or smell of real cigarettes mere days after switching to vaping.

Does higher wattage mean more flavor?

Wattage for sure can impact flavor, as higher wattages can produce a stronger flavor. That can be a good or bad thing depending on your tastes and the flavor of the e-liquid itself.

Should I shake my vape juice?

With both the layering of flavors and the off-gassing of molecules being huge problems, how could it even be possible to fix the flavors in your e-juice? That's right, you guessed it. Shaking the e-liquid bottle mixes up all of those layers that settled over time, and mixes the gas back in as well.

1. Low Battery

The first thing to check when you stop getting the desired flavor from your vape is your device’s batteries.

2. Cartridge

If you’re using a vape with a cartridge, this could be a sign that it’s time to swap out for a fresh one. Your device may be pulling just enough leftover liquid to give you a vapor cloud, but you definitely won’t be getting the robust flavor of a full, or even half-full, vape pod.

3. Atomizers

If you haven’t swapped out your atomizer lately, it might be time to do so. As you fill your tank and vape it down to zero again and again, small amounts of residue build up on your coil. This can cause the coil to heat poorly or unevenly. Sure, you will still get some vapor with continued use, but you definitely won’t enjoy the taste.

4. Adjusting Your Device

After checking for any parts that may have worn out, it’s time to try adjusting your device. Some flavors perform best in drip atomizers, while others do well in tanks. Adjusting your wattage upward may bring out flavors that were missing at first.

5. Steeping Your Liquid

On the less technical side of things, it could be that your liquid needs some time to steep before you vape it. The need to steep e-liquids is often a result of manufacturers shipping the products out immediately after mixing without letting them settle first.

What does it mean when you steep your E juice?

Steeping is a process by which you allow your E Juice to mix properly and develop its true flavor potential.

What is the flavor of e-liquid?

Move from a flavorless brand to one that is known for more pronounced flavor. Sometimes it is the flavor itself that leads to vaper’s tongue. For example, strawberry can have a faint flavor and therefore is often mixed with cream or banana. Whereas something like watermelon and lemon always have a strong flavor all on their own.

Can coffee beans help with vaping?

Not just for wine tasting and trying on perfume, but also a cure for vaper’s tongue. Taking a deep whiff of fresh coffee beans will also reset your sense of taste.

Does vaping cause dry mouth?

Having a dry mouth will make it harder for your senses to experience the full flavor of your E-Juice. A dry mouth contributes to a loss of taste and flavor . Drinking lots of water is the best way to stay hydrated and continue vaping without a dry mouth.

I've been vaping for about 3 months now. I have the eVic, eGo-C, Inferno, Kanger T-3, Vision Vivi Nova Tank System plus others... I guess I'm missing it.

One suggestion - DIY. You might be ordering from lousy vendors, if you DIY you'll have all the control and probably end up w/ much better juices.

have you tried Ahlusion or FanceeJuice or maybe Ms Ts Bakery? look for their "best Sellers" . Also just buy sample packs so you don't end up with a lot of bottles you don't care for. I don't like any fruit flavors or chocolate so I understand it can be tought finding a good liquid.

Definitely try 3mL or 5mL samples sizes, seems to me like every vendor I've ordered from or looked at has those small sizes.

If you order from Ahlusion be aware that they can take up to a week to just get your order together which doesn't count days en route to you. I finally cancelled my order for that reason.

I've personally found three vendors that I gravitated to over the last several months. All three just happen to use all natural, all organic flavoring, which must be the key factor that links what I feel is superior flavor over those companies that use artificial flavors.

I can second the Vaperite nomination. When I first started vaping and knew very little about e- juice and different vendors, I tried Vaperite. Their juice was really, really good... Better than the other juices my friend was getting for me from other vendors at the time.
