Stop Charging With Your Computer

If you are someone who charges your vape batteries with a USB connection to your laptop/desktop, stop doing that immediately. That is the most common mistake people make. Period. Computers can’t control the amperage output to your device through USB. This leads to overcharging which will degrade the battery over time.

Stop Overcharging Your Vape

Aside from using your computer as a vape battery charger, you should also refrain from charging with any device that’s not specifically designed for the sole purpose of charging (if it charges and does other stuff, don’t use it). Also, we advise against using quick charging devices.

Cycle The Battery

You’ve heard it from the kid at the Apple/Microsoft store before: “The battery won’t be fully charged out of the box, but let it run down before charging it.” This is true for any battery cell, including your vape pen. If you’re constantly flexing between 100% and 50%, then the battery won’t know how to operate under 50%.

Practice Battery and Charging Safety

Battery safety is REAL, and people don’t take it as seriously as they should. Whether you’re using our vape or another, it’s important to always use a charging brick (the same one you would use for your phone or Bluetooth speaker) so that it stops charging at 100%.

I have two sets of batteries which I rotate, also with batteries in series one takes more stress than the other so it's good to change them around. If you leave them in the device always in the same positions it may mean one has taken more stress than the other, also the wattage you tend to use and how much you vape will mean more re-charges.

I've got a similar problem with one of my married pairs that I bought 3 months ago for the Cuboid. The battery indicator shows one is drained more than the other, but if you swap them round in the mod the lower charge icon doesn't swap.
