I'm wondering if you weren't getting some condensation/e-liquid on your tounge. If it builds up in the center shaft then when you take a drag it can have a spicey/burning sensation. Just a thought.

I've noticed the same thing in my larger tanks, especially when I vape them halfway and re-fill several times. Like Tam said, the liquid gets noticeably darker and you get that "spicy" flavor to it. At first it's a pretty good taste, but after a few more re-fills, it requires dumping and cleaning.

Why does my coil gurgle?

If your power output is set too low to properly heat the coil, it will result in flooding and gurgling. Try increasing your wattage/voltage to a level that is within the recommended range—this may resolve the flooding and gurgling you are experiencing.

How does a vacuum tank work?

In order for the vacuum effect to function appropriately, the tank needs to be well-sealed and air-tight. Check the assembly of the tank’s various components to ensure that everything is connected properly and securely. In addition, inspect the various parts for cracks or gaps that could potentially allow excess air to enter the tank. This can also contribute to flooding and gurgling.

How to get rid of e juice on chimney?

If e-juice has been collecting on the chimney for a while, that buildup can cause serious spitback. Here, the solution is simple. Remove your drip tip. Roll up some tissue paper, insert it into the tank and soak up the excess water. Regular cleaning will help you avoid this problem.

What does low wattage mean?

Low wattage means your device can’t heat the e-liquid into vapor quickly enough. The e-liquid overflows the tank, resulting in spitback and popping noises. You’ll make the problem worse if you use an RTA with a loose airflow. This forces air into the device. If the wattage is too low, increase it by up to 10 watts.

What does it mean when your juice tank is cracked?

A thin crack in the glass or a piece of bent metal can mean the tank is no longer airtight, allowing the juice to leak out and into the air hole valve. If your glass is cracked it is usually an inexpensive and simple solution to buy a replacement.

Why do multi strand coils pop?

Multi-strand coils often pop and spit due to their design. Twisted coils in particular have a bad reputation for this, but Clapton coils may have the same issue. Their design makes it easier for e-liquid to pool on the coil, and so sometimes it’s hard to entirely avoid popping on these coil types.

How to keep a water tank from leaking?

Watch out when filling – Never overfill your tank. Always leave a small air pocket at the top when filling. This empty space will help prevent any liquid from leaking out. Also make sure not to fill it too quickly or you can risk flooding the tank. Check for cracks – Check your tank for cracks or other damage.

Why I Started Vaping

So here's the thing, I never started vaping because I wanted to stop smoking.

on some of the juices i have gotten. i believe the spicy/peppery taste is the nicotine in them. what mg nicotine are you using??

You could be tasting the nicotine somewhat, I've tried vaping unflavored nic juice (Mikey liked it!)

What I need; A tobacco flavor that is not too sweet, not spicy and can be vaped right out of the mail.

Yep! I just got my first order from Fsusa. I ordered a big bottle of ry4, just knowing I would love it. It was not at all what I was expecting. It was weirdly spicy. I tried it again today, and its a little better. I'm thinking they need to "steep".. At least I'm hoping!

I vaped a little bit of unflavored 36mg pg once and noticed a slight pepper flavor. I think it was from the nic. However it was very slight and once I mixed it with other flavors, I didn't notice it much. I don't taste it in any of the juices I'm vaping at the moment.

Once the element gets funked up it is time to replace them.Eventually you might be able to flush it out and make it fit to use.

Why is my vape not vaporizing?

An often-overlooked error is when a vape user has their device’s power setting so low that it’s not able to properly vaporize e-juice. By turning up the power on your e-cigarette, you allow it to vaporize e-juice faster so that less juice has a chance to leak.

How to clean a vape tank?

The simplest recommended method for removing excess liquid and cleaning your vape tank is this: 1 Disassemble it carefully 2 Rinse all of the parts with warm water 3 In cases where serious cleaning is needed, rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab or paper towel should be able to help remove any residue 4 Allow all parts to stand apart from one another and air dry completely 5 Once everything is 100% dry, reassemble and enjoy your newly-cleaned vape
