I am having some issues after I bought my vape yesterday. I was using it all night and It is giving me a bad headache. I don't know what's wrong and what's happening. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening or has anyone had a similar situation?

Acheno84 Member

I had the same thing happen. I believe it was due to the withdrawal of nicotine to be totally honest. I was smoking anywhere from half a pack to a whole pack a day, and then I converted to vaping, and 1 or 2 cigarettes a day. The hard thing is learning when to stop using it.

Thank you so much for your help! I will follow your tips. I really appreciate that we have a good community of vapers here.

Probably the nicotine itself rather than the withdrawal, and most likely a too high dose. I had a very similar thing when using nicotine gum, so vaping should be no different really. I hope you manage to resolve it. Although when it stops that's probably a sign that you are developing tolerance.

I guess, it's your nicotine addiction. I used to have this too. Every time I could not smoke for like 5 hours or more I started feeling so sick. Damn! Certainly not the best time of my life. However, there's nothing to do but acknowledge it as it is.

Personablue Member

I started vaping just over three weeks ago after purchasing the eGo-T kit and 40ml of e-liquid in 4 flavors (18-24mg) from a supplier in Vancouver, Canada. After vaping less than two hours, I had what I would describe as a low grade but constant headache, which continued for 5 days unabated.

I've had the same thing happen.... a particular juice gives me the worst headache. No real problems with other flavors from the same vendor or other vendors. I'm trying to figure out what ingredient is causing the headaches so that I can avoid certain juices. It's freakin me out a bit to try out new juices.

When I first started vaping, I also got low-grade headaches. As I continued and replaced the liquids with lower mg's of nicotine, I didn't get any more headaches.

My husband and I are also getting these headaches. They are of the crippling got to take Panadol sort. We have been trying a lot of juices lately with fruit-based flavours that tinge the juice pink and this seems to be the common thread. Clove, cinnamon and mint seem okay.

nansc Ultra Member ECF Veteran

I got the headaches too and I found it was from the nicotine. The nic amount was low but my theory is that I was vaping a lot more than I had been smoking.I found that if I alternated no nic and low nic the headaches went away.
