Ya if all else fails pop the battery cover off (does it have one? I am not familiar with it) and try to feel the battery. You will know if a battery is venting. Batteries can get warm when in use or when charging but its warm like sleeping on your pillow warm. you dont really notice it until you flip your pillow over heh. A venting battery will get hot.
Is builing coils fun?
If you have an interest in builing coils its pretty fun. It can make ya wanna pull your hair out until you get a handle on it but its really nice not having to shell out for coills and spend it else where. Its an upfront cost but it pays for itself. I also DIY but I am cheap.

Yup. I am both happy and sad for you. Happy you will vape much better and sad for your wallet. Vaping becomes a hobby but its a fun hobby. We all need hobbies anyways. If it wasnt vaping it would be some other hobby half as fun and probably twice as costly.

So every now and then, my PV will emit a very quiet buzzing sound when firing my atty. It'll happen for a little while, then stop. Then the next day, it will begin again at some point. To be honest, it might happen more often as I don't always vape in dead silent environments.

that is your coil firing im 95 % sure maybe someone else will chime in . I dont think you have anything to worry about .are your ohms staying consistent if so dont worry

Are you able to hear the slight buzzing sound behind the usual sound of the coil firing? It's not a sound you'd expect to hear alongside the normal sound.

Best thing to do is pop another atty on the Vamo, to check if it's the Vamo buzzing or the Rocket.

you should fire the rocket before reassembling. That sounds like your coil firing.
