Did that even using a vice grips. It still poured juice around the button. Needless to say, I am sure this has caused the misfiring.

Depending on where you live, some vape shops will recycle batteries (and I hope to holy goodness that they are doing so, not rewrapping them with some fancy house wrappers...) Radio shack will, some cellular places will take them, and so will places like Home Depot and Lowes, etc.

Makes perfect sense, it's a smok product. Smok is pretty much know for crappy stuff. I dont however have one, so not much help, in that I can tell you anything specific to that issue

The only thing I ever had by Smok shorted when I plugged it into the charger. Good thing it happened right then, while I was there to unplug it. I hear good things about some of their tanks, but I won’t buy any on principle. Plenty of other companies make tanks that also can make mods that don’t try to set the house on fire.
