The paint wore down on the plastic trim piece that surrounds the leather portion. Removed and repainted it. The actual color is darker than the photo. More of a cranberry color (muddy red). Doesn't stand out as much as the photo suggests. Rust Oleum Colonial Red.
Aegis hero not powering on
have been using it as a back up vape for my aegis legend 2nd gen i think (it has issues but i have troubleshooted them myself) have used it off and on for about 4-5 months. my wife broke the tank on her legend (much newer then mine) so i lent her my hero and it stopped working today.
Why have vape mods gone backwards in time? (more of a rant than anything)
For at least the past 6 years all of my mods have had the ability to lock the fire button. All of the newer mods that I've seen have gone back to having to turn them off to avoid them firing in your pocket.

Why does my mod read "Check Atomizer"?
Over time, dirt, dust, and ejuice can collect in your 510 connector and this can cause your mod to read Check Atomizer/No Atomizer. Start by removing the tank from the mod and inspect the threading where the tank screws in for dirt, dust, or ejuice. Do the same with the 510 connector on your mod.

Loose pieces of metal on the build deck will cause your mod to display “Check Atomizer” or “Atomizer Short”. Even very small pieces or trimmings of wire can cause a short or a check atomizer error on an RDA/RTA/RDTA. First, inspect the build deck closely for loose pieces of wire or other foreign objects.

You should always be using an Ohm reader or regulated mod to build your coils. But more importantly, you should always know Ohm’s Law and practice proper battery safety.
