Read this. With Smok coils quality control is an issue as well. Try using a needle to add some holes to the coils wick ports on the side.

If you do change the coil, make sure you thoroughly prime it prior to putting it into the tank. The cotton should glisten like a slushy drink. A few drops won't cut it. Also lower the wattage setting until the coil is broken in properly...maybe half of a tank full. Then you can reset your wattage to a higher setting.

Sounds like you didn't prime the coil properly and have the wattage set too high maybe. Pop in a new coil, prime the .... out of it and run the mod at 50-65 watts. Increase watts if needed later.

It’s most likely the terpine called B-Mycrene, or A-Bisabolol. Those two specifically burn and sting my nose and I absolutely hate it. It is from CT dispensary so there in no PG or bad unhealthy additives. Try oils that either do not contain any terps, or look for the ones that omit those irritating terpines I mentioned above.
