why does my ego one vape make a gurgling sound

by Prof. Kylee Grady Published 2 years ago Updated 1 year ago

Ego tanks are notoriously dodgy. That doesn't mean there's anything wrong with your setup. If you draw too fast, it will pull liquid too rapidly into the atty and begin to flood it. Usually that's the gurgling you will hear. Hit slow and steady and the excess should vape off. If you're getting leaking around the base, that is another issue.

A pod vaping device, or pod begins gurgling because excess e-liquid is caught inside the pod's atomizer coil assembly. There's more e-liquid than the wick can hold, so you begin to hear a bubbling or gurgling sound when you inhale.

Why does my vape gurgle when I vape?

Nov 17, 2017 · Flooding and gurgling usually arise when the coil is oversaturated with e-liquid, resulting in an excess amount of liquid within the coil. In such a situation, the amount of e-liquid is overwhelming to the coil, and the heat is incapable of vaporising all of the liquid that is present at that time. This flooding, then, results in a gurgling sound that is often accompanied by leaks …

Why is my atomizer coil gurgling?

May 04, 2020 · A gurgling vape tank is one of the most annoying problems that you can deal with as a vaper. Why is my e-cigarette gurgling and spitting?

Hey all. I am pretty much brand new to vaping. I got a Joy eGo One XL in the mail the other day from MVS. It has been mostly a great experience. If you notice a gurgling or spitting noise, it might mean that your power is too low. If you have an adjustable power vape and the wattage is too low, excess fluid can gather in your atomizer head. How do I stop my vape from gurgling?

The best way to do that is by rolling up a paper towel and pushing it through your tank's mouthpiece. Run the paper towel all the way down the tank's chimney until it touches the top of the atomizer coil. Why does my vape gurgle?

Puffing too firmly disrupts your device’s normal airflow and forces extra e-liquid into the pod’s atomizer coil assembly. The e-liquid then begins to seep out of the pod’s air intake vents, or it travels up through the pod’s chimney and into your mouth. Either way, your pod system will gurgle when you vape.

What is the worst vape juice?

With almost any modern vaping device, the worst thing that you can do is use an all-PG vape juice. Propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin are the two base liquids used to create vape juice. PG is much thinner than VG. It also produces smaller vapor clouds and has a thin, wispy mouth feel. Most people who vape like the larger vapor clouds and fuller mouth feel that VG provides, so most e-liquids contain at least 50 percent VG.

How does a sub ohm tank work?

A modern sub-ohm tank has a wide chimney to facilitate smooth airflow and encourage the production of large vapor clouds. If your tank produces vapor with a large droplet size – we’ll discuss that in greater detail shortly – some of the vapor may condense while it’s still in the chimney, forming drops that drip back down to the atomizer coil. The drops pool on top of the coil, causing gurgling and popping when you vape. The easiest way to prevent this from happening is to get a new tank, which we’ll discuss shortly.

Are you over filling? Or are you tightening everything up properly? That's all I can think of at the moment and perhaps someone else will come along with more suggestions.

I've had good results from mine. It's currently my primary go to device. Hope you are able to resolve your problems.

The only time i've had gurgling was after filling the tank and then adding a few drops to the top of the atomizer. So it's my own doing, I just open the air flow and vape a few long puffs. Great little device.

eww245 what material did you use to rewick it? Plain cotton I suppose?

eww245 Senior Member ECF Veteran

I used labo organic cotton. I didn't notice the other material when i took the head apart but I have seen the pictures. And yes I did smell and taste something burnt with the original wick. I'm not concerned about the material myself just want the head to last as long as possible.

It seems to be how I may use it with the stock wick. If I let off of the trigger sooner there's less burnt taste for the next one. Like a primer puff at the end of the drag, but that also might increase chances of the gurgling.
