What is PG in vape?

Propylene Glycol or PG is the thinner of the 2 e-juice constituents and the lower the vape coils recommended wattage, the higher the percentage of PG should be.

What is a SS coil?

An Stainless Steel (SS), Kanthal (Ka), Nickel (Ni) or Titanium (Ti) wire coil or wire mesh coil inside your vape is heated when you hit the fire button. An organic cotton wick running through your coils (in an RBA) or around your coils in a regular tank, has been soaking in e-juice since you primed your coils and filled your tank.

Why does my vape taste burnt?

The Reason Why Your Vape Tastes Burnt (EXPLAINED) The #1 reason your vape tastes burnt is that you have run too much power through the atomizer without priming it first with E Juice. Remember: when you install a new coil in your vape tank you need to prime the coil (by dripping some juice onto the cotton) before you fire it for the first time.

How long do vape coils last?

Vape tank coils only last for a certain amount of time ; the best might run for a week or so, while the worst (hello, SMOK coils) might burn out after a day or two. If you’ve primed the current coil correctly, a burnt taste when you vape is a sign you need to switch the coil – if this happens, DO NOT continue to use it.

Complimentary Flavours

This is something we all know about, but as new vapers it might be something we didn't think would affect the taste of our e-cigarette. What I'm talking about here is the same thing as brushing your teeth before having a cup of tea, or on the other side of the coin, having a glass of red wine with your steak.

Illness and Tiredness

When you have a cold, flu or aren't feeling 100% for whatever reason, it will affect the taste of your vapour. It sounds fairly obvious as I'm typing it now, but it really did surprise me the first couple of times I experienced it and it can be quite dramatic.

Fresh Coils and Old Coils

I think most would agree that the best flavour you get is on the second or third fill of your e-cigarette device. From there on in it's a gradual downhill path, until it gets to the point where you start tasting a burnt dirty flavour or it just deteriorates to a simple lack of taste and vapour production.

Flavour Fatigue

I think flavour fatigue is the main reason for what people call 'Vapers Tongue', when vapers can't taste any flavour in their e-liquids. We are essentially bombarding our taste-buds with relatively strong flavours all day and sometimes I think we just need to give them a rest.

Was it a burnt taste or just bad? If it was burnt I'd suggest putting a few drops of liquid on top of the coil (not into the hole of course) and letting it sit a filled tank for an hour, at least that's what I do, if it was just a bad taste, get some better juice.

the 5 quick hits could be a problem also... the wick needs time to "refill" after a couple of hits..

Might want to go to a local B&M vape shop. Could call first and see if they have flavors you can test. Taking your equip. with you, test their juice and maybe talk to them about your problem. At least you might find a juice you may like and know how it should taste. You might even find out some tips on how to use your equip..

One other thing is that I'm not sure about is the smell. I assumed that my liquids would have a different smell to them, but they all have a similar smell to them.

Lots of variable can turn a good juice bad.. you covered some but how was your air-flow set? Did you try different voltages? Did you try different combinations of voltages with different airflows together? What material is your drip tip? These things matter and, you'll learn not any single combination is right...

1. The Friend Who Gaslights You

If your compadre constantly implies that everything's your fault in a friendship, it might be time to call gaslighting what it is and bounce. Listen to their actions instead of their words if they're treating you like crap while telling you how much they care about you.

2. The Friend Who Doesn't Respect Your Boundaries

If you have that one friend who always FaceTimes you late at night even when you've told them you're going to bed, they might not be respecting your boundaries. You may have to take the leap of communicating your boundaries to your friends first and enforcing them.

3. The Friend Who Never Reaches Out To You

You’re the one who always makes the call to hang out, and when your friend does answer your texts (which does not happen often), it always feels like they're doing you a favor. “Yeah, I guess dinner works for me on Friday. I’m going to be a little late. Oh, and I need to leave early.

4. The Friend Who Doesn't Respect Your Time

I'm not talking about the friend who lives with chronic pain and sometimes needs to change plans because they're having a flare-up.

5. The Friend Who Judges You For Your Goals

Your friends will call you out when you're making mistakes, but there's a big difference between how you feel when your bestie is giving you solid advice (even if it's tough to swallow), and how you feel when a pal is judging you and your dreams.

6. The "I'm Just Being Honest" Friend

"You are really clingy in relationships," they tell you when you're worried about your girlfriend shutting down when you try to talk to her about emotions. Your pal might be telling you things with grains of truth, but that's never the full picture. You deserve someone who's nicer about it when they think there's a tough truth you have to confront.

7. The Friend Who Never Asks How You Are

It takes them an hour and a half of talking about me, myself, and I to finally ask how you are. You really do want to hear about their job, but you just wish they'd give you the same emotional space in return. A friendship is supposed to be a two-way street, after all.
