Those of us who were smokers know that there's nothing more satisfying after eating than smoking a cigarette. Unfortunately, I don't get the same pleasure from vaping. Instead, after I eat, vaping seems extraordinarily harsh. The tastes of the food still in my mouth seems to interact strangely with the vape, and usually it's not pleasant.

I guess it all depends on what you like. I like having something sweet so I usually vape on RY4 after a nice big meal. It is better than eating a ton of ice cream or pie.

I agree with you though I have found some juices perform much better for the after dinner vape, just can't remember off the top of my head which ones........

A good tobacco vape after dinner is what I usually have. Beats eating a desert and then hating myself over it.

Now that I think about it, some foods interact better than others. If I'm eating dessert, then a sweet dessert vape usually goes hand in hand. But spicy foods don't seem to go with anything.

the after meal cigarette is the only time I miss my analogs!! i find if i just vape through the craving it passes.... regardless of the flavor...but I agree on the sweeter flavors make it more easier

Horne4291 Senior Member

I get the same satisfaction of vaping after I ate just like when I used analogs. When I first started vaping about 7months ago it bothered me but not now. A nice vape is just awesome. Its just better now cause instead of eating something sweet. I can just vape it an I still get the same satisfaction as well.

Hmmm, never had that happen. The after a meal vape took a while for me to get as good as the after a meal smoke was though. All of the "smoking rituals" actually took a while to get used to - first morning vape, after a meal vape- etc. But that went away with time, and now theyre ALL good. I think it was more mental than anything

keenan

Yeah, the first one in the morning took me a while to get round to too. Now it's 'old hat.' But this taste thing is throwing me. Most days as I get old I'm becomming more convinced that my body is not my friend. I'll just be a hero and clean the kitchen or something after dinner, before I get to the PV. There's always an angle...

VegasVapor

Interesting. Never had this happen to me either. It definitely isn't the same as smoking an analog after a meal though. I do notice that I can't taste the flavor of my vape as much until after the taste of the food I just ate goes away. Actually I get that stingy sensation regardless of after eating or not.

nana

First of all, I don't get that when vaping after a meal. I've never had a problem with it at all. I really adjusted to vaping very easily and that's what amazed me the most.

Christopher

I never have a problem after a meal either and in fact this came at a good time because I just got done eating a ton of Pizza

seaspine

I like to vape a choclate or cola juice after a meal, something sweet. It acts as dessert and helps keep the pounds off.Try that.I got use to it pretty quick.

mergryphon

ddavelarsen, I agree, vaping doesn't quite fulfill the after meal smoke like an analog did. I do agree with you though, it after meal vape doesn't burn per say but it does taste a little different.
