I was a non-menthol smoker for most of my nearly 30 years of smoking (I did "flirt" with menthol cigs here and there in my teens, but basically, I was non-menthol). I DO like a little menthol in some of my vapes from time to time. I get Angel Tears from Rawr, and I add it to some flavors occasionally.
