I've had both for awhile now and I always seem to be going back to the DB, the only thing the GEN really wins in is weight. The DB can get heavy in the pocket but I'd say it's my favorite overall. I haven't had any issues with either mod either, my 510 is right in my Gen and my battery door on my DB is as solid as when I got it.
