Some people will have different flavoured e-liquid in different set ups and change regularly throughout the day.

Does a cold affect vapour?

When you have a cold, flu or aren't feeling 100% for whatever reason, it will affect the taste of your vapour. It sounds fairly obvious as I'm typing it now, but it really did surprise me the first couple of times I experienced it and it can be quite dramatic. We've all experienced a loss of taste when we have a cold, but with e-liquids it wasn't as simple as that and I would find that flavours I was very familiar with started tasting like completely different e-liquids.

I'm completely new to the vaping scene, and I bought an aspire premium kit that includes an Aspire CF VV+ battery and a Nautilus Mini. I got my kit and I unscrewed the bottom of the clearomizer and put in the e-liquid below the limit and let the liquid soak for maybe 3 minutes. I tried it out and it tasted terrible.

Was it a burnt taste or just bad? If it was burnt I'd suggest putting a few drops of liquid on top of the coil (not into the hole of course) and letting it sit a filled tank for an hour, at least that's what I do, if it was just a bad taste, get some better juice.

the 5 quick hits could be a problem also... the wick needs time to "refill" after a couple of hits..

Can you tolerate diet sodas? If not, I would not suggest using any sweet flavors. You could use unflavored juice with a small amount of the other flavors to give you a hint of flavor. The only sweet I can get is from PG, and that is not much. It's a bummer, but I am adjusting. I really like sweet things.

Might want to go to a local B&M vape shop. Could call first and see if they have flavors you can test. Taking your equip. with you, test their juice and maybe talk to them about your problem. At least you might find a juice you may like and know how it should taste. You might even find out some tips on how to use your equip..

One other thing is that I'm not sure about is the smell. I assumed that my liquids would have a different smell to them, but they all have a similar smell to them.
