Well vaping sure isn't going to help with you'drying out' like that! Especially since your doc told you to use saline spray, etc... he must have noticed that you were really dry. Maybe you should think about easin' up on the good ol vape until this gets better? Just a thought...

Sorry your feeling so bad....I know I've been sneezing and having some runny nose, but mine is all seasonal allergies. Nothing I can blame on vaping. I hope you start feeling better soon.

How long has it been happening? If it has only been a few days then I wouldn't worry too much about it. The seasons are changing and a lot of people are getting sick.

More details are needed here, General Patton. How long have you been vaping? What kind of juice are you using and with what device?

Cptfunpants Super Member ECF Veteran

I was just about to make thread about this!!!!! I don't get a runny nose, but I do get mucus in the back of my throat.

The men who served under General Patton did without a lot. They endured malnutrition, lack of supporting fire, inadequate clothing and arms in addition to sleep deprivation in order to achieve General Patton's goals: to defeat the Wehrmacht.

I had the runny nose thing going. After about 8 month of vaping 50-50 pg/vg I went to 40-60 and then to 100 vg.

Haven't yet had a runny nose or phlegm but I've only just started vaping... My old man who got me into vaping has had bad headaches but I think thats from not smoking cigarettes and his dependency on other drugs not just the nicotine.

Around the two week mark of vaping I had the same thing happen. I thought it was the pg so went to vg, but it didn't change. After another week or two my phlegm and runny nose stopped. I have since increased my pg to about 40% and am still having no problems.

Thank you mods!

I just wanted to publicly thank the mods for implementing our new no medical questions rule that I suggested a few days ago. Hopefully it cuts down on some of the clutter, questions we're not qualified to answer, and just dumb shit that's in no way related to vaping being blamed on vaping.

Last night, I was partying with some friends. After one too many drinks, I decided that vaping my e-cig with my nose would be a good idea. So I did it. It actually wasn't that bad!

WomanOfHeart Vaping Master ECF Veteran

I hope you don't mean that you used your nose to vape. That's just wrong!

AlbertaClipper Super Member ECF Veteran

That is HILARIOUS! No, I never thought to vape with my nose. Maybe the next time I get toasted, I'll try it.

I apologize for asking, but somebody has to: did it taste like boogers?

I am assuming he means inhaling the vapor through your nose like we used to call french inhalling when we were kids and not putting the actual mouthpiece to his nostrils. At least I am hoping thats what he means because plan two is quite offensive no matter how drunk you are LOL

When I used to smoke analogs, I used to be a chronic nasal exhaler, until I was told that it was really bad for the nasal membrane along with our "smelling cells" or whatever you wanna call it. basically, over time it greatly reduced our ability to smell, and clogged the nose.

I literally mean that I put the end of the PV into my nostril, plugged the other nostril, then inhaled through my nose.

Can exercise cause allergies?

It's called exercise-induced rhinitis, and it's a lot like allergic rhinitis -- also called hay fever or nasal allergies. For the unlucky people with EIR, as it's called, a good workout triggers allergy symptoms: congestion, sneezing, runny nose, itchiness, general misery.
