What You Should Do

The great thing is that it is actionable. Here are the things you should do if you accidentally get e-liquid in your mouth:

Step 1: Rinse your mouth

Usually, people only get a few drops of e-juice into their mouths. What you should immediately do is spit it out. Do other necessary steps, such as brushing your teeth and tongue or gargling a mouthwash afterwards.

Step 2: Watch out for side effects and seek medical assistance

Next, you should observe yourself and keep an eye on any side effects. Some may feel nauseous after the incident. Should you feel ill afterwards, go and see a doctor for immediate assistance. Your doctor will probably tell you that everything is fine, but you are the best person to assess if you need further help.

Step 3: Determine why the accident happened

It is not enough to stop at step two. You need to understand why it happened in the first place so that it will not happen again. Find out the reason it occurred and the corresponding solution to avoid it next time.

Conclusion

Accidental leaks can get e-juice into your mouth. Knowing why it happens can help you prevent it from occurring once more. You may also consider adjusting your vaping technique, changing your vaping device, or getting to know your equipment better to avoid tasting the unpleasant e-liquid again.

Hi All! This is my first post. I have been trying to read through threads to see if I could find my answer before asking and I have seen this issue mentioned but haven't seemed to find a resolution. I am new to vaping, just started a week and a half ago and have already lost any desire for analogs.

I had this problem when I first started using EVODs and it turns out that I was using it incorrectly. I use to take a drag from it like it was a cigarette. I would hit it really hard.

I think some of it also has to do with the vapor recondensing into a liquid again inside the drip tip during heavy use. At least that's been my experience.

Reason #1 – A Dead Coil

  • Your coil may be done dancing if it is giving you a lot of spit back. They only last so long, after all, even under the best circumstances. Don’t expect that coil to last a month or two. A week or two is about as long as you should use a coil for. The kind of E-fluid that you use can have an effect on …

Reason #2 – Bad E-Fluid

  • “Bad” may not be the right word. It could just be that you’re using the wrong kind of E-fluid. Your tank’s or device’s performance depends largely on what kind of E-liquid you use in it. You might be asking for trouble if you have a sub ohm coil and you are using an E-fluid that is high in PG. They tend to be watery and thin. They flow right through your coil. The solution – if you do happen to o…
