If you do change the coil, make sure you thoroughly prime it prior to putting it into the tank. The cotton should glisten like a slushy drink. A few drops won't cut it. Also lower the wattage setting until the coil is broken in properly...maybe half of a tank full. Then you can reset your wattage to a higher setting.

Sounds like you didn't prime the coil properly and have the wattage set too high maybe. Pop in a new coil, prime the .... out of it and run the mod at 50-65 watts. Increase watts if needed later.

Has anyone experienced throat and chest burning after smoking a dab pen? I had a kingpen cart in the grapefruit flavor and had burning in my throat immediately after, it spread to my chest the next day, and it lasted for 2 weeks. I went to the doctor and they diagnosed me with esophagitis but I’ve never heard of vape carts causing that.

Bro, be careful. People have been dying from these pens. The black market is filled with carts that are cut with toxic shit, make sure you know exactly where the cart comes from and if it is lab tested. If you're getting it from a vendor in a legal state then you are good.
