Either condition can be unpleasant. For this, avoid too heavy puffs to ensure the e-liquid stays where it should. For pod-based devices, refrain from squeezing the sides. This could cause the pod to flex and cause excess e-juice into the coil compartment.

Why does my disposable vape smell burn? If you perceive your vapor smells burned, that’s a signal to slow down. Many disposable vapes are not designed with a temperature control function. How to fix a vape that has never worked?

Note that this is not applicable across all disposable vapes. However, it is a common fix for the common ‘puff-bar’-designed rectangular vape devices. With tweezers, pick off your vape device’s mouthpiece. Beneath the mouthpiece, look for the cotton pad, perforated in the middle. The cotton pad is designed to hold condensation and work against spitting and gurgling. If the pad appears bunched up, it needs attention. Remove and reposition. Ensure the hole matches with that in the rubber stopper beneath it. If the cotton doesn’t look clustered, remove it and place aside. Inspect the rubber stopper. There’s a hole that leads directly inside the device. Is the hole blocked? If, remove the stopper and readjust. Better still, you may use a wooden toothpick to open up the hole. If done as directed, your device should deliver well enough. Reassemble the parts and enjoy your session.

Hi All, I bought an Innokin itaste SVD and am powering it with AW IMR 183560s but the batteries keep going on me after half an hour - hour max. Yellow light on my itaste then quickly goes to red....

An 18350 doesn't pack a lot of punch, although half an hour seems too short a time. Is it possible for you to check the fully charged voltage? Should be 4.2V.

carrielsal Vaping Master Verified Member ECF Veteran

What kind of atomizer are you using? If you're using pre-built coils, it sounds like it could be a problem with the mod draining the batteries.

Mutescream Super Member ECF Veteran

Aside from being unclear on if it is an 18650 or an 18350... We never hear about the tank topping it. I run an 18500 sometimes in my svd, and I get a day to day and a half out of it. The rest of the time I stack 18350's, and get almost 2 days out of it.

wheelie Ultra Member Verified Member ECF Veteran

I go threw 2 or 3 -18650's per day in my SVD. Maybe get 4 to 5 hours per 18650. Run mine on 9.5 with a 1.6 ohms coil. I bet I would go threw 350's in less than an hour. Get a 18650 vape for hours not minutes. I won't even look at a mod that does not hold a 18650. CHEERS!
