What wattage is best for vaping?
The best wattage for vaping depends on two things: Your own personal tastes (do you want a hot or warm vape?) However, if you go too high for the coil you’re using, it will burn out rapidly and start tasting like ass – the cotton just burns up which is why you get a burnt taste from your vape. Start Low.
What are the best coils for temperature control vaping?
You do have to run certain types of coil to do temperature control properly, so the ONLY coils you ever use for temp control vaping are Titanium, Stainless Steel, and Nickel. Kanthal (Ka1) and Nichrome (Ni80) are hardly affected when heated, so this makes them useless for temperature control vaping.
Why do some vape coils have to be higher than others?
Or, if you’re vaping a tobacco/coffee E Juice, you could have it higher to extract more notes. You do have to run certain types of coil to do temperature control properly, so the ONLY coils you ever use for temp control vaping are Titanium, Stainless Steel, and Nickel.
How much e-juice can you vape on A 40W battery?
If you are willing to refill your e-juice bottles frequently, you can use the maximum capacity that your vape mod offers. Just remember that on average, consistent vaping on 40W and beyond will result in the consumption of 10ml in a day and drain battery life.

What wattage should I use on my coil?
Often, regardless of the type of tank, the best performance of the majority of vapes occurs between 80 and 100 watts. Higher wattages will render your coil “useless” – burn out and reduce the battery life.
Are parallel coils good?
So Why Is A Parallel Coil Build Better Than A Standard Micro Coil? Simply put, there is just more wire and more surface area on a parallel coil than on a standard micro coil, because well you're using double the coils.
How many watts do I need for a .23 ohm coil?
Wattage range 20-45W.
What wattage should I vape at 0.22 ohm?
0.4 ohms - 40 watts to 80 watts. 0.3 ohms - 40 watts to 90 watts. 0.2 ohm coils - 40 watts to 100 watts.
What coil is best for flavor?
The best ones to go for flavour wise are clapton, titanium (if you prefer vaping with TC mode) or an Alien coil. The sweet spot for getting a balance of vapour and flavour is around 0.3ohms. Depending on your coil choice you'll want to up the wattage from anywhere between 50 and 100 watts.

What is the best wattage for a 0.4 ohm coil?
For example, a 0.4-ohm mod may recommend a 23 - 28 watt setting, and a 0.8-ohm mod may recommend you use up to 35 watts. Some recommendations can go much higher (e.g., 200 watts). Sub-ohm devices work best when using a high VG vape liquid (e.g., a VG/PG ratio of 70/30).
What is the best wattage for a 0.6 ohm coil?

The lower resistance 0.2 ohm coils allow higher wattage to be used. This said, in this case, the 0.4 ohm coils give much better flavour with the Cleito tank than the 0.2 ohm coils.
What wattage should I vape 0.15 ohm?
For the 0.15 ohm GT4 coils, used on Vaporesso's NRG tank, for example, the recommended wattage is 45 and 65W. 45 to 65W is still a fairly broad range, so it will be up to you to find what works best within these limits.
How to tell if your vape tank is obsolete?
How can you tell whether your current vape tank might be obsolete? The first sign is that your tank doesn’t have a mesh coil. Mesh coils are so much better than wound coils in every way that there’s really no reason why almost every vaper in the world shouldn’t start using mesh coils immediately.
How to tell if wattage is too high?
The first sign that your wattage might be too high is the experience that you have when you vape. Does the vapor seem uncomfortably warm? Do you find that the heat makes the vapor just a bit too intense? Maybe you have trouble tasting the flavor of your e-liquid at all because the vapor is so hot. All of those are signs that you need to lower your device’s wattage.
Can you crank up wattage on a vape?

In some cases, it may even possible to vape above your coil’s suggested wattage range without worrying that you’ll ruin the coil. This is something that you’ll have to figure out through trial and error.
What is temp control vaping?
Temp Control Vaping: With temp control vaping, you can lock the maximum temperature you vape at. This ensures you never go over and, therefore, stay well with the comfort zone of your coils.
What is the wattage of a box mod?
The wattage of a box mod, in layman’s terms, is essentially the amount of power you send from the mod’s battery to the atomizer (AKA your vape tank). Higher wattages equal more power, and this, in turn, creates a hotter, more intense hit. And more vapor. If you want those BIG clouds, you gotta run your vape mod at higher wattages.

COIL WRAPPING
I decided to use a coil jig by Kuro Concepts for my parallel, but you can just as easily use a builders rod to wrap yours. Just take your time, making sure to keep everything uniform and evenly spaced.
INSTALLATION
With your nicely wrapped parallel coil in hand, you can proceed to install it on whatever topper you choose. I’d suggest using an RDA personally, as the extra width of the coil probably wont fit on an RDTA.

Hi there, I'm new to vaping. I bought myself a Vaporesso Tarot Nano Kit with some 'Traditional ECU Coils ' with a sticker that says 35-40 watts. Do I need to run it at this voltage? can I go higher? the coils have a ohm of 0.5.

That's an estimated power range that's the coils are supposed to perform at. Which sounds about right for that resistance; I fire single .6Ω coils at 25-30w, and dual coils reading .6Ω at 30-40w. Best to start at the lower end of the range, see how it works then slowly increase as necessary.

I just bought the Tarot Mini Kit and I'm using the .5ohm 316l coil rated at 25-35watts and I'm running it at 35watts. I've taken it as high as 45watts and it seems like it can't keep up with me chain vaping .

Just prime the coil well, then break it in. Start with low wattage and increase a few watts at a time until your sweet spot. It will likely be under the "recommended, rated" wattage or at the low end of it.
How to wrap a wire atomizer?
Bend the wire in half so both sides are equal in length and touch each other. 3. Take your drill bit or Coiler Jig and start wrapping (take your time in order to keep it neat and as tight as possible). 4. Keep wrapping until you’ve made 5 even wraps. 5. Leave the drill bit in and line it up with your atomizer’s posts.
Is a parallel coil better than a micro coil?
Simply put, there is just more wire and more surface area on a parallel coil than on a standard micro coil, because well you’re using double the coils. With that in mind, theoretically a single parallel coil should equal the same performance as a dual micro coil build. But most vapers will prefer a single parallel coil to dual micro coils because you only need to build one coil and you will still get a warm vape with impressive cloud production.
