Gday all, Ive been vaping pre-made coils on alien with baby beast until recently I have purchased the RBA for it, the coils it came with gave a reccomended wattage, but i have just got some pre made coils for the rba but unsure how many watts is reasonable to use for them, they are reading .25 ohms.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I have spent quite awhile googling an answer and getting overly technical stuff. Just looking for a simple answer so i can try a couple of different coils until I find something I like.

It depends on the mod you're going to be using... Is it a single battery or double?

If youve got a vw/vv regulated device, i wouldnt worry so much. It really does come down to trial and error but regulated mods are considered the safest.

I read multiple topics saying that the 0.3 should be used at 60-80 watts (too hot) , i'm currently using 40-45 , is this gonna burn the coil faster or damage anything?

The conventional wisdom is use the lowest wattage where you like the vape. Atm I’m running an aromamizer 7 plus with a .34 coil at 22w

I could not agree more. For a while, I chased everyone else's recommendations. Low ohm's were coming into vogue and I chased those. Finally, I ended up with stainless at 1.8 Ohm on a mechanical REO, I have not looked back. You might find that intolerable.
