I think you answered your own question... "32-40W for 0.3ohm, and 20-28W for 0.6ohm". Which end of the scale (and possibly +/- an additional few watts on either end) would be a matter of personal preference from playing around with it.

Depends on which 0.3 Coil you are using there is one that's rated 20-28W assuming you are not using this one I agree with @BigPappa above. Just play around with Wattage and find what suits you best, for me it is 38W and 24W.

They're all just recommendations. What is best for you is best for you. The higher the wattage, the more likely you are to shorten coil life, sort of generally. With that said, if it's best a few watts higher than "recommended" for you it's probably not the hugest deal in the world.
