Flavor Quality
The flavor and vapor quality is good, especially when you consider the fact that you don’t have any control over the power settings. I tend to look at something like this and assume that the vapor is going to be terrible. I mean, if you can’t choose the exact wattage that you want to vape at, the experience won’t even be worth it, right?
Power Flexibility
There isn’t any power flexibility at all! Like I said above, the power output will mostly depend on what atomizer you are using. It can handle resistances down to 0.1ohm. Obviously the lower the resistance, the higher the power.
Ease of Use
If you choose to buy the SMOK Priv V8, it will almost certainly be because of how easy it is to use. It’s not the most versatile. It’s not the most powerful. It’s not even the smallest and most portable.
Portability
I’ve already said that this isn’t the smallest or most portable mod out there, but the portability of this is still good.
Overall Experience
The SMOK Priv V8 is definitely not for everyone, but for certain people, it may be the perfect mod.

Anything else besides smok would be perfect. Smok has zero quality control. They sell a LOT of products, but no quality. You might get lucky and get a year out of it or just as easily you might get 4 months use or less.

The kind of battery you want depends on your wattage needs for the most part. With that said, I don't think folks are steering you wrong in the mod department. Also, some mods seem to be more "efficient" at converting power depending on their chip. Also the amount of bells and whistles on the mod will also matter.
