I'm kind of in your position. My parents didn't realise that the vape produced was seriously vapor, because it looked like smoke to them. I have educated them, with information from this forum, about the differences between smoking and vaping, and how vaping was a lot healthier for me.

My parents said the same thing in the beginning... I tried to explain to them what I was doing & why I was doing it. I showed them all of he research that I did & the benefit vaping has over smoking. They now understand & let me vape in the house (after all it's not like it smells or is a disturbance to anyone, no one is getting harmed).

Did you have to go outside to smoke cigs? I did, so if I was asked to go outside to vape, I don't think it would be an issue. As it is, I still have the urge to get up, and go outside for a smoke, sometimes I go out there to vape, just cuz it was part of the habit.

I don't think you will. I am a fully grown, responsible 37 year old man and my father still gives me crap about my vaping. I work for him in the family business and have been told I can only vape in the shop. I respect his wishes, he is the boss after all, and only vape where he allows. He is a hardcore anti-smoker.

While I would never smoke in my house, I vape constantly in my house. I personally see any reason not to...but it is my house. If someone doesn't like what I do in my house, they are free to leave. You, on the other hand, seem to be living with your parents in their house.

I do agree with the others about their house, their rules. Maybe bring up the topic one more time with your research. If they say no, they say no. You will have to abide by the house rules.
