How hot do temperature control vape mods get?

Jan 21, 2021 · Sub-ohm devices work best when using a high VG vape liquid (e.g., a VG/PG ratio of 70/30). A high VG ratio produces thicker vapour clouds and more intense flavours that taste better (as opposed to a high PG ratio, which focuses on throat hit). E-liquid devices over 1 ohm

What wattage is best for vaping?

Oct 29, 2018 · The best temperature to vape e-juice is in the range of 390 F to 490 F. The sweet spot for many temp control vapers is 420 F. Most temperature control vape mods have the capability of 200 F to 600 F. However, at higher temperatures the vapor can be very hot. At lower temperatures the vapor and flavor can be a bit thin.

What wattage should I vape 70 30?

E-liquid devices over 1 ohm E-liquids that produce a more noticeable hit with less of a focus on taste intensity and vapour clouds have a high PG ratio (e.g., a 70/30 PG/VG ratio). The device's product information will recommend a wattage setting. For example, you could find that a 1.6-ohm coil may need 12 watts.Nov 27, 2020

Is 70 VG and 30 pg good?

70% VG/30% PG: (70/30) This is the best level for those who are interested in lots of vapor but still want to notice at least a little throat hit as well. 30/70 produces a smooth feeling that doesn't overpower them when inhaling, and big clouds when exhaling.

What does 70 pg 30 VG mean?

The 70 VG / 30 PG Vape Juice is a type of e-liquid that contains a mixture of two bases, which include 70% Vegetable Glycerin and 30% Propylene Glycol. Vegetable Glycerin is a thick, natural liquid with a sweet flavor, which has a shorter shelf life due to its organic ingredients.

What temp should I run my vape at?

390 F to 420 F390 F to 420 F is considered the best temperature range to vape e-juice at. This is because you will be provided with a substantial, but refreshing hit that is smooth to the lungs. Delicious, optimum flavor is also emitted, giving you an enjoyable, full experience from the juice.Oct 29, 2019

What percentage VG should I get?

For those who are less concerned with the flavour of their e-liquid and enjoy producing massive clouds when vaping, 90% VG/ 10% PG is the perfect ratio. This mixture is ideal for use on high wattage vape devices.Jul 16, 2021

Is 80 VG good?

80VG/20PG. This ratio will give you a thicker liquid, ideal for sub ohm and people who use RBAs. The slightly decreased flavour is more than compensated for with higher wattage, 80/20 has a vast power range available to it, but more depends on the atomizer/RBA you're using!.

Does higher Vg burn coils faster?

The PG:VG ratio of your e-liquid can contribute to your atomizer heads life, especially with low resistance atomizers. Sub-ohm coils heat up much quicker than those with a higher resistance. If your e-liquid has a thinner consistency then the atomizer head can vaporize it too quickly, causing premature burning.

What VG PG ratio should I use?

PG VG Ratios 50/50 – this is the most common ratio used, ideal for basic vaping devices like the LiQuid Pro with atomiser resistance levels between 1.0 ohms and 2.0 ohms. 70VG/30PG – designed for use with atomisers below 1.0 ohms, this is a common HVG blend formed to produce more vapour when sub-ohm vaping.May 24, 2016

Does PG or VG burn faster?

Rate of burn is determined by the viscosity of your eJuice. The viscosity of your eJuice depends on the overall (all ingredients are used in the calculation) PG/VG Ratio. The higher the PG the faster the burn.

Is temperature control vaping better?

Temperature control vaping can be an amazing experience. It provides the security of consistency that wattage vaping often lacks. No one likes dry or burnt hits, or vapes that get too hot with long hits. TC vaping solves that.Aug 18, 2021

What temp should I vape live resin?

550 - 580°FFor instance, rosin or live resin is recommended to be heated at 550 - 580°F — you can ensure that this range never surpasses with a Terp Timer.

What do vapers focus on?

Beginning vapers are likely to focus primarily on two things: their hardware and the flavors and nicotine levels of their e-liquids. After they gain some experience with vaporizers, their attention usually turns to the effects of variable voltage and wattage, and they may move on to mods.

Can PG cause throat irritation?

PG can also cause throat irritation for some, for reasons which will become obvious in a moment. Switching to an eliquid with a VG base may be necessary for these vapers. Each of the bases has distinctly different characteristics which affect the vaping experience.

Is VG a good base for vaping?

However, the boring details about PG and VG aren’t necessary for most vapers to study. Both bases are considered safe and are widely used in a variety of consumable products. The one major “health” issue to consider is that a small number of people are allergic to propylene glycol, experiencing symptoms like hives, rashes or upset stomachs. PG can also cause throat irritation for some, for reasons which will become obvious in a moment. Switching to an eliquid with a VG base may be necessary for these vapers.

I hate to throw something else in but the addition of flavourings, if they are soluble in either carrier liquid VG or PG or both, will alter the boiling point also and this will vary with flavouring/concentration etc etc etc...

Yea...been doing research...and there are a huge amount of complexity involved when mixing with other liquid such as PG, Nic and flavorings. That's my reason for this thread to see if there's anyone who has any light on this.

What is a vape mod?

Tying it all Together: Vaping Wattage, Temperature Burn, and E-liquids. Vape mod products are essentially batteries connected to atomisers. The power from the battery heats the coil in the atomiser, vaporising your juice ready for use (inhalation).

What does higher voltage mean?

Understanding voltage: The higher the voltage, the greater the pressure inside the battery, meaning more amps can be supplied to the coil in rapid succession, heating the device faster. As we will see below, voltage and wattage are connected.

What does voltage mean in a battery?

Voltage. Voltage (V) relates to batteries. The greater the voltage, the greater the electrical pressure inside the battery. If we think of amps as singular units of electricity, a higher voltage means more amps contained within the battery. V multiplied by A equals wattage (W), explained below.

What is sub ohm?

Sub-ohm devices have a lowered electrical resistance (under 1 ohm), meaning more electrical current can enter the coil, producing a higher burn temperature. The product information on sub-ohm devices will tell you the optimum wattage settings to use for that mod.

Can you change the ohms on a vape?

Unless you retrofit alternative coils to your device, you cannot change the ohms that your vape device comes with. In simple terms, ohms measures the electrical power your coil can carry (like the amount of water in a hosepipe). No matter the size of the batteries you are using, your coil can only carry so much electrical current.

What are the benefits of temperature control?

Benefits of Temperature Control Vaping 1 Better Flavor Control: Certain E Juices perform better at different temperatures. For instance: having a lower temperature might bring out the sweetness more. Or, going higher could bring out richer tones. 2 Fewer Dry Hits: Because the maximum temperature is locked, you won’t get anywhere near as many dry hits – the atomizer just can’t get enough power to do it. 3 Increased Coil Life Span: With the temperature locked, you’re not maxing out the coil every time you vape, which means the coil head will last longer. 4 You Use Less Vape Juice: Again, with the temperature locked in, you can find a sweet spot where you get great flavor at lower temperatures (and, therefore, power). Less power means less E Juice burned.

What is the wattage of a box mod?

The wattage of a box mod, in layman’s terms, is essentially the amount of power you send from the mod’s battery to the atomizer (AKA your vape tank). Higher wattages equal more power, and this, in turn, creates a hotter, more intense hit. And more vapor. If you want those BIG clouds, you gotta run your vape mod at higher wattages.

What is sub ohm tank?

Sub-Ohm tanks are designed to produce more clouds. They do this by having a lower resistance (0.2ohms, for instance), and this allows for less electrical resistance which in turn allows for more signal to flow to the atomizer.

What coil wires work best for vaping?

Nickel, Titanium, and stainless steel all do an excellent job of temperature controlled vaping. However, my favorite is stainless steel. Stainless Steel is the only type of coil wire that works in both TC mode and variable wattage mode.

Can a vape mod control temperature?

Not all va pe mod s or e-cig devices are capable of temperature control vaping. If looking for a vape mod that is capable of temp control, look for the TC designation. Also look at the device specs.

I am using the aspire revvo tank with the 0.1 coils which is a recommended output of 80-85 watts.

Screwball Postman

Use whatever wattage tastes good pal, start low and gradually increase. The recommended wattages ain't always right. What tastes good to you might not to me and vice versa. It's all down to personal preference

wrldleigh Initiate

As mentioned by @Screwball, the wattage range doesn't have a huge amount of correlation to the liquid viscosity. The wattage range given on any coil is merely a range at which the manufacturer believes that coil will be operating at its best. Similarly, running it above its maximum stated level can significantly reduce coil life.
