Which vape mix should I use?

Dec 19, 2017 · Because temperatures and vapor production capability is higher in DL sub-ohm vape tanks, many vapers opt for the smooth throat hit of VG dominant e juice. VG on the other hand is the acronym for vegetable glycerin. VG is slightly thicker in consistency and has a mildly sweet flavour to it.

Is high VG better?

Higher VG liquids work better with lower resistance coils (less than 1ohm), whilst 50/50 e-liquids work well with higher resistance coils (more than 1ohm). High VG e-liquids produce more vapour and have a smoother throat-hit, but the liquid is thick and can clog up coils quickly.Jun 8, 2021

Does higher Vg burn coils faster?

The PG:VG ratio of your e-liquid can contribute to your atomizer heads life, especially with low resistance atomizers. Sub-ohm coils heat up much quicker than those with a higher resistance. If your e-liquid has a thinner consistency then the atomizer head can vaporize it too quickly, causing premature burning.

What wattage should I vape 70 30?

E-liquid devices over 1 ohm E-liquids that produce a more noticeable hit with less of a focus on taste intensity and vapour clouds have a high PG ratio (e.g., a 70/30 PG/VG ratio). The device's product information will recommend a wattage setting. For example, you could find that a 1.6-ohm coil may need 12 watts.Nov 27, 2020

What VG PG ratio should I use?

PG VG Ratios 50/50 – this is the most common ratio used, ideal for basic vaping devices like the LiQuid Pro with atomiser resistance levels between 1.0 ohms and 2.0 ohms. 70VG/30PG – designed for use with atomisers below 1.0 ohms, this is a common HVG blend formed to produce more vapour when sub-ohm vaping.May 24, 2016

What is the VG PG ratio?

What is MTL vaping?

MTL describes a method of vaping where the vaper first inhales a cloud of vapor into his mouth, and then inhales again to bring the vapor into his lungs. This method simulates the way most people inhale cigarettes, colloquially known as “shotgunning”. In general, tanks designed for MTL use have a small coil surface area and run at high resistance. This means that fast flowing ejuice is necessary to adequately saturate the coil at all times.

What is DL vape?

DL is an innovation in vaping that took place over the past 4 years where vapor is inhaled directly from the vape mod into the user’s lungs. This delivers a powerful burst of flavor, nicotine, and big clouds. What ratio of PG/VG do I want if I want something more smooth and gentle? I have yet to completely understand the whole PG and VG thing. I thought this article was very informative, but still information overload. I need a flow chart or something.

I recommend buying 100% VG eliquid for a smoother TH. Now, flavors themselves can add to TH. So, get some 100% no flavored eliquid at the same NIC level as your flavored liquid. If you need to reduce TH of your flavored liquid, add the no flavored liquid to the flavored. This will reduce TH at any given level of NIC strength.

I agree with what has been said so far. My wife has trouble with TH and actually chokes and coughs. I put a 2.8 ohm atomizer and ran it @ 3.2 volts to make a lot less vapor and she seems to be handling that much better. Me! I like puffing smoke like a steam train!

I'm sensitive to PG and prefer 100% VG. Much smoother, though it can mute the flavor. Best countered by ordering extra flavor if that option is available. Nicotine strength can increase the throat hit too so a reduction to that level will help too.

Oh yay - I placed an order yesterday for some flavors from BWB, and I think that's one of them. I'll keep an eye then on the VG% when I order.

Is propylene glycol a liquid?

Propylene glycol is a clear, colourless and odourless liquid. It is also hygroscopic which means it is capable of attracting and holding water molecules. It’s this hygroscopic property that makes PG such an essential part of an e-liquid.

Is vegetable glycerine a liquid?

Vegetable Glycerine is a colourless, odourless and viscous liquid, meaning it is thick and has a resistance to flow (a little like honey or golden syrup reacts when poured from a jar). It is derived from vegetable oils, is naturally occurring and safe for human consumption. VG has a slightly sweet taste and is therefore widely used in the food industries as a sweetener and also as a thickener.

Is VG better than PG?

A hit from high VG fluids is much smoother than with PG, which makes it more suitable for those with sub-ohm vapes. According to an assessment report, the liquid has low toxicity when consumed, and it has a low potential to irritate the skin or eyes.

Can you be allergic to coconut oil?

There is a limited risk of being allergic to vegetable glycerin, although those who are allergic to palm oil or coconut oil could encounter problems. Certain e-cigarette tanks aren’t compatible with high-VG liquids, as they clog up coils more rapidly and can reduce the life of atomisers more quickly than PG-based juice.

Can you vape with a high VG?

If your vape is quite old, or uses a clearomiser, avoid using liquid with a high VG content. People who vape high VG e-liquid may experience a dry mouth, sore throat and increased thirst – so drink plenty of water and take breaks while your body adjusts.
