My current build is .4 ohms, problem is batteries just don't seem to hold a charge for very long and once I get past 70% or so it seems like output goes down pretty fast.

Get a sigelei 100w. I run a .4 ohm for about 24 hours of heavy vaping, then swap in my charged set of batteries. I find that 35watts gives me a great vape and doesn't mow through juice.

You can buy stuff, but they are usually USB devices that won't kick enough power. I have a homemade one but only made it 3.5A which is fine but nothing special. Just buy a power supply a 510 and some wire not a hard thing to run up if you want one. Bet there are youtube vids if you need help.

Thanks for the info and especially the links to other threads that I hadn't seen yet. Yeah, I know about the USB options, but like everyone says USB has very limited power. So it seems that folks have done exactly what I was picturing in my head but nobody has caught on commercially yet.

Or you can forget about sub ohming and get a 2 amp AC adapter, put something together to hold a 510 connector and use a 2.5 ohm coil. That's what I use when I'm home. Here's a pic of one I built from CPVC pipe fittings with a Smok mini RDA. Of course you could use any RDA you want as long as you build a 2.5+ ohm coil.
