I may be WAY wrong here, but from what I understand, when you have 2 batteries connected like they are in a mod box, they would be considered to be connected/wired in SERIES, which you add both battery specs together. So you would have 7.4V & 80A at your disposal from you battery's that you have there.

They can be series or parallel. I'm assuming parallel in a mech for 4v. Unless your vaping at 8v... You didn't give the battery amp rating. Staying below the battery amp rating would be safe. Assuming 10amps minimum battery rating for imr, keep it below 10amps.. So yes you can go below 1.2 ohms.. Waiting for specific battery specs.

I think the Battery ratings and type are on the battery themselves which is the 2nd of the pictures he posted...

The most common sub-ohm box mod vape batteries are 18650s. There are also 20700, and 21700 but 18650s are the most commonly used.

How many ohms does a vaporizer have?

That means that the vapor is drawn into the mouth and then inhaled. Much like smoking a cigarette. While the usual range for standard vaping is between 1.5 ohms and 3 ohms, using a vaporizer containing an atomizer coil with a resistance of less than 1 ohm is technically referred to as sub-ohm vaping.

What is temperature control vape?

Temperature control vaping uses sub ohm atomizer coils. But instead of setting the wattage, the user instead selects a vaping temperature. Most modern sub-ohm vape mods come with a temperature control option. This is usually denoted as a TC mod.

What is the difference between a sub ohm and a regular vape?

This is the main difference between sub ohm vaping vs regular vaping. Sub-ohm vape mods produce bigger and thicker clouds as compared to regular mods. Because there is so much more vapor, the vape liquid used for sub ohm atomizers tends to have less nicotine than a standard e-cig.

Why is sub ohm vaping better?

Think of it in this way, the less resistance there is to something, the easier it is to overcome. In the case of sub ohm vaping, a lower resistance atomizer allows more current to pass through it. Increased current causes a metal element to heat faster. As a result, more e-liquid is more rapidly vaporized.

How to use sub ohm vape?

Here are the key points to remember: 1 Sub ohm vaping uses atomizers with a resistance of less than 1.0 ohms. 2 Also called DL, or Direct Lung vaping. 3 Use regulated mods, mech mods are dangerous. 4 Use sub ohm vape tanks as opposed to building your own coils.

What does DL stand for in vaping?

Sub Ohm vaping is also called DL vaping. DL stands for Direct Lung Vaping which means that the vapor is drawn directly into the lungs.

How to marry vape batteries?

The easiest way to ‘marry’ your vape batteries is to keep them stored together in a battery case. By storing them together, it’s easy to remember to charge them and discharge them together! Personally, I actually re-wrap the batteries with the same custom wrap.

What is a battery pairing?

Battery pairing or ‘marrying’ two or more batteries together for use in a dual/triple vape mod is really important in terms of getting the best out of your batteries, prolonging their life and avoiding any possible ‘stress’ being applied to them. A paired battery is a happy battery….

What does it mean when a battery is in series?

The combined voltage of the two vape batteries in this configuration is the sum of the individual batteries. This basically means you’re increasing the voltage of your battery supply when using batteries in series.

What is the CDR of a battery?

The combined voltage of the two batteries in this configuration is that of the single battery. The current (mAh) and Continuous Discharge Rate (CDR) is the sum of the two batteries.

What is a stacking battery?

Stacked (stacking) batteries is a term used to describe two or more batteries that are placed on top of each other (serial configuration). This means the positive end of battery ‘A’ is placed against the negative end of battery ‘B’.

Can you use a vape mod in parallel?

To keep things simple, you’re not given the option of using your vape mod in either series or parallel configurations. This is simply based on the design of the vape mod you’re using and isn’t optional.

Which is better: battery vape or battery vape?

It causes the metal to be plated inside the battery that could result in an internal short circuit or burst. Battery Vape batteries are better. The batteries Battery Vape supply are of the very highest quality. They are manufactured and tested to the strictest possible safety standards.

What does mAh mean in a battery?

mAh stands for milliamp-hour. For our purposes, it describes the total amount of energy that a battery can deliver over an hour. For example, a battery with a rated capacity of 3000mAh could deliver 3000 milliamperes — or 3 amps — for one hour before it is exhausted.

How many times can an IMR 18650 battery drain?

As an example, an IMR 18650 battery with 2000mAh capacity can handle 8 times 2000 = 16000mah = 16amp. MAH, AMP, AND VOLTAGE MAKE A DIFFERENCE TOO.

What Is mAh?

The term “mAh” is a measurement in milliampere-hours of a battery’s electrical charging capacity. More simply, it’s a unit of measurement that indicates just how much electrical power an item like an e-cigarette battery will provide over a one-hour period.

Calculating Battery Life With mAh

To determine the life span of an e-cigarette’s battery, you’ll need to use an Ohm’s Law or battery life calculator, which can be easily found for free online.

Coil Resistance and Its Relationship to mAh

One very important element that affects just how long a battery can operate in-between charging is whether you’ve got a low or standard resistance coil (commonly called an “atomizer”) that your battery is powering. Resistance in this case indicates the electrical resistance occurring inside the battery’s cells as it produces electricity.

Can you overcharge a battery?

To ensure your safety and maintain the battery’s life and durability, we recommend you follow these rules: Do not over-discharge or overcharge the battery. Doing so will shorten the battery’s life and sometimes, it can make it pop or leak. Please do not short circuit or it will release massive current.

How to Use This Information Effectively

  • Knowing the max discharge rate in amps is only half the battle. How do you know if your coil or atomizer/clearomizer/cartomizer won’t short circuit your battery? Simple, use this equation: battery volts / the ohms resistance of your coil = your actual discharge rate. If your actual discharge rate is less than the maximum discharge rate you calculated earlier, you’re in the clear…
