Is the Medleypat a.5 coil?

Are you trying to quit smoking or are you a hobby vaper? Medleypat is correct - there is almost no perceptible difference between the .5 coil and the . 6 coil. They're both stainless steel - the .6 is noted on the box as a "mouth to lung" coil and the .5 says it is for "direct to lung" except I did not find that to be the case - they are really both direct to lung coils. If you are using them as MTL coils they will burn out fast.

The 'ohm' is a measurement of resistance, and sub-ohming refers to vaping using a device with a resistance level lower than 1.0 ohms, as suppose to 1.5 ohm to 2.8 ohms used in regular vapes. Most vape tanks geared toward sub-ohm vaping will be capable of using coils with a resistance of lower than 1.0 ohm, and they typically have much larger juice channels. Will be watching this thread. I have been using the 1.5 coils without incident but still can't "chain vape " it. I find that instead of primer puffs I can tip it upside down a couple times that seem to force the juice in the holes and then toke again. I may try your suggestion on the .6 coils, but wouldn't there be a lot of spit back?

Bonskibon Vaping Master Verified Member ECF Veteran

I am chain vaping and on my third tankful tonight. Have had zero spit back.

Bonskibon Vaping Master Verified Member ECF Veteran

I don't understand why they would have a screen for the .5 coils, but not the .6... no wonder they burn out so fast. I can understand the 1.5 and even 1.1 coils not having the screen. I have a couple of .6 coils that came with the second device I ordered so will be removing that top piece for sure.

My .6 Cubis coil burned when using it the other day and it still had juice on the tank. And it was getting way too hot. Maybe I needed too inhale a few times in the off setting or I was inhaling too much. Second coil going on a couple of days now, but I'm not chain smoking it.
