That really is a scary story, and you are a very, very lucky man !!! I know the FDA is always looking for damaging information, however, nicotine is legal and it wasn't a vaping accident.

500mg?? I didn't even know they made liquid that strong. Glad you're ok, but some pretty no-brainer stuff could prevent an accident like this, and I don't mean to sound like i'm negatively commenting, but your 'moral of the story' is off and still isn't safe, especially if you're not the only one in the residence.
