When you turn your device on and try to vape, the water will travel into the atomizer, where it will quickly soak the wick. The high temperature will make the water turn into steam, which then you will inhale. But here’s the thing – steam is genuinely hot, and it may burn your lips or tongue, or even both!

At worst, this could burn your airways or mouth. At best, you'll just be inhaling a little steam. Plus, vaping water won't produce the thick clouds that people who vape are usually after, since those come from propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerin (VG).

Also, unlike a vape pen, the user builds the coil, and so makes the coil a specific resistance, detailed as “ohms”, if you put a 10 amp battery on a coil with ohms that will pull 30 amps through the battery (or try to) this can also make a battery heat up and vent, but a vape pen has a set ohm because you use an atomizer that has a pre built coil and so a pre set ohm limit, or resistance.
