So What Does Vaping Liquid Contain?
The e-liquids or e-juices vapourised in your device contain varying doses of nicotine, although they are available with no nicotine whatsoever. Whilst nicotine is addictive, it’s not actually proven to be harmful when taken at small dosages.
How Does it Work?
Vaping is simple – whether your chosen device is an e-cig, vape pen or mod, it works much the same. All three devices use refillable liquid which is heated by the device, vaporised and inhaled by you.
The Vaping Community and Culture
Whilst initially the electronic cigarette was intended to help smokers cut down – the modern e-cig was developed by Hon Lik in response to his father’s death from lung cancer - today's vaping has developed far beyond this. Moving away from the realm of nicotine patches and gum, vaping is now, for many, more like a hobby – or even a sport.
What is coil in vape?
The coil is a component inside the atomizer. But as we know, the world of vape lingo is vast and when you say coils, we know what you mean. If your vape mod is the body, atomizer heads are the heart, a fundamental part of your vaping experience.
How does an atomizer head work?
An atomizer head converts energy from the e-cig battery and heats the coil inside, this then vaporises e-liquid that is soaked into the wicking material, which is then inhaled by you.
Do vapers use e-liquid?
Some vapers prefer an atomizer head that lasts a long time, doesn’t use much e-liquid through the day and they don’t look for larger clouds of vapour. Other vapers are satisfied exhaling large clouds of vapour and are happy topping up with juice more frequently. The best thing to do is experiment.
What is a vape pen?
If someone is talking to you about their sick new 'vape', then they are in fact referring to their personal vaporiser, or e-cigarette. Vape e-cig, vape pen, apv, mod, these are just some of the terms that have come to refer to these devices. With regards to smoking regular cigarettes, this can come with a range of unpleasant by-products such as tar, carbon monoxide and ammonia, none of which sound particularly attractive.
