It too me quite awhile to figure out a lot of the acronyms, so I know a lot of newbies are having the same problem. the first thing I looked for on that list was " mod " -- this term still baffles me. I always assumed it meant "modified" as in "customized by the end user" but I constantly see/hear people referring to a standard, off the shelf, exactly like the other 1000 on the shelf, battery thingie as a " mod ".
