Why does my vape sound like its popping?
As you draw on your e-cig, e-liquid is pulled into your atomizer head. The atomizer head has a coil inside it that heats up as you press your button. This coil then vaporises your e-liquid into a vapour that you can inhale. As the e-liquid is vaporised it makes a slight popping or crackling sound.
How do you fix a vape pop?
This can be fixed easily: get some rolled up tissue paper, remove your drip tip and insert it down into the chimney of your tank. This soaks up the excess e-liquid reducing the chance of spitting and popping.
Why is my tank popping?
Sometimes referred to as spitback, this can happen when there's too much e liquid in the centre of your coil. This can't be vaporised properly and it bubbles or pops like water being brought to the boil. As you inhale, some of these 'pops' may shoot up the centre post of your tank.
Can your vape explode?
Any brand or type of vape pen with a lithium-ion battery could theoretically explode in use. If there is a defect with the battery or if the device is used incorrectly, such as using the wrong charger or getting the battery wet, it could lead to a fire and explosion.
Can you overfill a vape tank?
Never fill your vape tank right to the top. Overfilling will always result in leaks, ruining your clothes, your vaporizer, and your vaping experience. Let's not mention that it's a waste of precious e-juice. And, always place the nozzle of your vape juice bottle against the side of the tank.
How do you know if your vape is going to explode?
If an atomizer draws more current than a battery can safely provide, and there is no electronic cutoff in the device, the battery can overheat and go into thermal runaway. That can cause a fire, or—if the battery can't easily vent the heat—an explosion.
Should my vape crackle?
First of all we should clarify that a vape crackling is entirely normal. The crackle you tend to hear from a vape is the sound of vape juice evaporating inside the pen. This happens as the liquid is sucked through from the tank and touches the heating coil, turning into vapour.
