Multimeters are not expensive and as a bonus, not only will you avoid blowing your face off, you’ll also get better performance since you won’t be guessing any more.
You overcharge your batteries
While it seems like almost every explosion is caused by dangerously low sub-ohm vaping, overcharging batteries can in rare cases also cause them to burst.
You let batteries touch each other or metal objects
Not totally relevant since this won’t cause your mod to explode in your face, but it will cause a fire, which can really suck if you put the batteries in your pocket with your keys or loose change.
Why does my vape tank leak?
Leaking happens when e-juice escapes from your tank, usually through the airflow system. Depending on the reason behind it, leaking can range from a few drops of e-liquid, to having your tank emptying all of its contents all over your vape mod. It’s a common problem with even the most popular sub ohm tanks.
What happens if you inhale too much liquid?
If you inhale too forcefully, you risk bringing too much e-liquid into the coil, which may lead to leakage. Watch out when filling – Never overfill your tank. Always leave a small air pocket at the top when filling. This empty space will help prevent any liquid from leaking out.
Why do multi strand coils pop?
Multi-strand coils often pop and spit due to their design. Twisted coils in particular have a bad reputation for this, but Clapton coils may have the same issue. Their design makes it easier for e-liquid to pool on the coil, and so sometimes it’s hard to entirely avoid popping on these coil types.

First make sure the threads are in sync and closed tightly, but not too tight. Find that sweet spot. If the threads are crossed, screw it back together carefully. Remove e-juice from chimney – All tanks have a central airflow tube that runs from the body of the tank up to the drip tip, known as the chimney.

Cloud chasing is all about show, I would assume this is the reason why as I just tried it and it makes no difference in the vape to me.

for me, on a really low ohm (below .4 ohms roughly) build i blow out a bit right after i hit the button. i do this because the low ohm builds really deplete the battery in a hurry so it takes a second for the coils to get up to temp.

I wondered the same thing. I believe what they are doing is priming the coil. It takes some pulsing to get the coil heated up to get that big hit. Also blowing on the coil prolly heats it up quicker like blowing on a fire.
