I don't use TC (I've tried it, wasn't impressed), but since 400 degrees is a suggested starting point for TC, why not start there and gradually work your way up until you find what you like?

You can't convert temperature to watts. The temperature recommendation on your juice would be for TC mode only.

Check out Steam-Engine.org and play with the wire wizard to determine heat flux. It's not a 1:1 ratio, but I find a heat flux in the mid 200s is equivalent to about a 420F vape.
